Central location, but no noise from road. Bungalows are set within beautifully maintained gardens. Mine came with A/C and central fan, mosquito nets, mini bar and large shower. All staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Good pool area and although fairly small, I was always able to get a sun bed. I’d highly recommend staying at Sama’s Cottages, you won’t be disappointed.

- bed is not comfortable. When we move little, it sounds much. We couldn’t sleep. - bathroom fan so much noisy - so many steps to reach to the room - we requested to provide shower gel which was not working. They didn’t provide.

In a quiet spot just off a busy road, this little complex is a gem. The gardens are beautiful. Everything is clean and well tended. The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our Villa was the last one down the hill so quite a few steps but quiet. No TV in the room but that didn't bother us. Easy walking 5 mins to Ubud market, centre of town.

I had a wonderful stay at Sama's Cottages. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I loved hanging out by the pool. Waliking didtance to everthing :). Best Quiet Location. I look forward to staying there next time.

There is no place to refill water bottles, however there is a mart just across the street from their cafe Gluten Free on Bisma.

A series of lovely cottages along a beautiful garden path. They are separated from one another so noise is not an issue. The cottage is spacious and so is the bathroom. A mini bar is stocked with all items included in the room price (not free refills FYI). They have umbrellas to use if you get caught in the rain. The bed and mosquito net are a delight. The pool area is lovely, however if you are in cottages 5 and 6 there is a decent walk up to the pool area (the upside of these cottages is you are away from the road!) The staff tending to the rooms were always super friendly and polite. They bring and light mosquito coils at night if you're outside your room. If you don't have dietary requirements I believe you can have breakfast brought to your room, however we require gluten free so ate at their restaurant Gluten Free on Bisma with a discount.

The location is very convenient as all of Ubud is in walking distance. The over friendly staff is very helpful and can arrange most everything. Some facilities could use a refreshing but it is overall very good value for the money.

Sam’s cottages is really a hidden gem behind the buzzling streets of Ubud. The arrangement of the cottages and the location was wonderful, our villa very modern, comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful! We can highly recommend this place and would definitely come again!
