How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The communication with the owner went really well. I was checking in after hours and also checking out before someone was present. It all worked very easily and I was happy with the room :)

The AC was weak so the room was a bit warm. There was no hand towels and soap. The room was a bit damp which you could smell.
For this amount of money this is a pretty good place. The staff was nice and the location is good.

The bathroom needs renovating, the sink had a brown layer and the shower was covered in limescale.
Staff were excellent! So accommodating, allowed us to check in very late after our flight. Also, so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had good air con.

The smell of the room was a bit weird.

The kettle could be replaced to boil faster, also the shower tab in my former room could be replaced for something nicer.
I like the space of the room and the bed, and easy access to places in the Canggu area. The stove and the fridge were really useful while staying there.

Noises around, but I understand is a party neighborhood… also we have a aircon problem for 2 days but as I said, mang putra solves the problem as soon as he could.
Everything amazing specially the staff mang putra, he is always ready to solve everything and let you feel comfortable at the property. The place is always clean and I love how big the bed is 🤗

One of my best stays, I’ve been so far. The kindness of the host was amazing! Definitely will come here again! Plus really good location, everything you need, you can walk by feet or reach with a 10 minute scooter ride.

The alley to get to the house is highly trafficked by bikes, and not very fun for pedestrians. The bathroom appliances were old and in rough shape, especially compared to the rest of the room.
The location is about a 20 minute walk from the beach, many places to eat and shop nearby nearby. The room was spacious, with a large bed, desk, chest of drawers, closet item, and bedside table. The bed was the most comfortable of our whole three-week journey staying at 8 places. The pillows were nice and the duvet was fluffy. The outdoor shower was nice.

Toilet was not the most clean, in the sense they did clean it but there were some permanent stains n stuff This is not the guest house's fault but I do want to mention that since in the centre there is a lot of traffic noise and on some nights I couldn't get proper sleep (in case you're a light sleeper like me just mentioning)
The room and property were as shown in the pictures, comfortable beds, bathroom had warm water The wifi was good and I was able to take zoom work calls easily and that's very important for the digital nomads folks, so very happy for that. The staff really nice and helping ! They cleaned the room frequently The location is right in the centre and very easily you can go walking to a lot of places The kitchen was good Overall this is good value for money
