The staff is the sweetest ever, so welcoming, so kind and here if you need anything. The location is perfect to go everywhere, and the room was very comfy :)

The tiny sink was not in the bathroom, but in the bedroom. It was too small to comfortably wash your hands/face and it didn’t have any space to put things like toothbrushes etc. anywhere.

We had a very nice 5 night stay at Robiu. The women who work at the bed & breakfast are very kind and always there if you need anything. We booked the Ijen tour through the b&b since it was a lot cheaper than booking it through a tour platform. The room was pretty spacious and had AC and hot water (shower had strong water pressure also). We booked breakfast with our stay, and she freshly made us a different meal every morning. Every room has a drying rack outside, so you can hang your clothes.

The drains had a bit of a smell by the last day and we were getting woken up by roosters at about 3am but we understand that these things can't always be helped. It was still an amazing stay and we would absolutely come back!

Beautiful rooms, very clean and comfortable. The staff are so helpful and professional. We booked on to an Ijen tour through the homestay which was absolutely incredible and very well run. The breakfast was delicious. We felt very at home here, thank you!

I didnt miss anything. Location is not exactly in the center but with a taxi you are there in 5 mins. and it was a nice and quiet place. really enjoyed my stay there !!!!

For a homestay, it was everything you would want. Very clean, nice big room and well maintained. Staff spoke English, they were super nice and arranged several services for me. I felt really well taken care of. Thank you! Ana was super nice and super helpful!!! Probably my favourite stay in Indonesia so far.

Amazing staff! They helped us arrange rides all around Java, even days after we had checked out. They also went out of their way to deliver my brother’s shoes, which he left on a van that was far away—and while we were already staying at a different hotel. Truly above and beyond service. Breakfast was great, and the rooms were very clean and well maintained.

Ana and her husband are excellent. From the first contact at booking, to arriving, booking tours, dealing with laundry and then departure, they cannot do enough for you. Breakfast is an added bonus. Robiu is a little bit off the beaten tourist path, but this is exactly what I loved about it. I spent some time working while I was here, and the wifi was perfect. There are tables and chairs in the courtyard, which is a lovely place to work. There is a water point in the kitchen so you can fill up water bottles, and also facilities to make hot drinks whenever you want them. It was really easy to get Grab taxis if needed, and Ana provided so much information about local places to eat, where to shop for food and snacks, and even gave us details of a local festival that only happens once a year. She organised a private car and tour guide for us for the Ijen climb, and both were superb. We really felt so well looked after. She really is the perfect host, and I can't fault anything at Robiu. Thank you so much for making our stay so special.

That we didn't stay longer!

Ana and her husband were the most incredible hosts as nothing was to much trouble. Always smiling and always happy to assist. They helped us book the Ijen tour (highly recommended) and also a scooter. Ana gave us amazing food and cafe recommendations also. They made us delicious breakfast every morning and when we got back from the Ijen hike. Best banana pancakes I've ever had! Our room was lovely and spacious with clean bedding and plenty of storage space for our things. It's a cute place and perfect for a few nights. It's a bit of a walk into town but if your happy on a scooter I'd hire one and scoot around town or to local sights such as the waterfall. Highly highly recommended this lovely place. Amazing staff, clean and tidy, perfect for all travelers.

I felt like the room needed some maintenance. The shower, water heater, doors look old and clunky. The location is not idea, a bit far from the town center.

The host, Ana, is lovely and makes you feel at home from the first moment. The room is comfortable and quiet.

The mosque was loud nearby but that’s common in many places in Java. Rooms a little dark but very nicely done.

Ana and her husband who run the property are the best hosts. We organised the Ijen trek with Ana and a taxi transfer both went very smoothly. Rooms were cleaned every day. It’s in a local area which we enjoyed. The kids enjoyed chatting to us Europeans!

I stayed with my boyfriend here for 3 nights, we slept like babies, the room was fresh and clean, along with the bathroom & the host was so so lovely, very helpful and would help you with anything you needed! We booked our trip to Ijen with her and it was so simple, she gave us all the info and we paid her directly when we arrived. Definitely worth staying!

The homestay is located in a quiet neighborhood, close to some nice restaurants, and about 15 minutes walk to a shopping mall. The room was clean and spacious. The host, Ana, was extremely responsive and welcoming. She helped organize a shared hiking trip to Ijen at an affordable price. Overall, this is a great place to stay for your Ijen adventure!

Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely wonderful! Ana was always there to help us – whether it was with excursions, transfers, or general questions. She provided us with a lot of useful information and speaks excellent English. Ana is such a kind and helpful host. We also had great conversations with her.
