Beautifully located rooms with Rinjani-view and a strawberry garden right in front of the accommodation. Manager Rehil speaks good English and is very helpful. Hikes, trekkings, transport and scooter are all available. I was in Sembalun during the Merdeka-weekend so there was a lot going on with loads of Indonesian youth visiting. I presume it will be a bit quieter at other times. Best place to eat: Clasic Kafe.

The only set back was the room smell a bit moldy , maybe due to the weather.

Beautiful view. Host very friendly and they did prepare a good breakfast for us after our hike to bukit pergasingan. He even allowed us to pluck the strawberries right infront of our guesthouse. Taste really yummy.

Wi-fi was sometimes out, but just for short period.

Really cute bungalows in the strawberry farm. You van freely pick the fruit. The owners speaks very good English and is full of really usefull and realistic informations about trekking.

Little rudimentary such as no AC but did not feel like we needed it (maybe due to the higher altitudes) and also not the kind of stay where you would spend your day there.

Was perfect for a one night stay in Sembalun. Really friendly hosts, beautiful and clean cottages, breakfast was delicious, close to bukit selong and also amazing view of mount Rinjani from the room, they even have strawberry farm in the middle which they let you pick and eat.

Go in with realistic expectations for the price of the room and you'll have a great stay. Nothing to complain about given the price point.

Nice, relatively clean and well appointed rooms right in the heart of Sembalun, with lovely and attentive staff. The rooms are great value for money. The view of the surrounding area, including to Mount Rinjani, is spectacular.

Wonderful peaceful location with the view of the mt. rinjani from the room. Very close to the starting point to walk up the pergasingan hill. they also can organise a hiking guide. very friendly staff and try to make your stay very nice. room service very good. most comfortable bed and real blanket i had on my trip.

Always a great stay at Rautani Sembalun I've stayed at Rautani a few times now (this was my fourth!), and it’s always been a great experience. This time I got to stay in one of the new houses — super clean, comfy, and nicely done. The staff and owner are super friendly and welcoming. They even remembered me from my previous visits, which was such a nice touch. It really feels like a home away from home. Rautani is always my first choice when I’m in Sembalun, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone heading that way.

The shower is warm, could be a bit hotter. But given its mountain location, it is already very good.

Beautiful new property with views of Rinjani. The room was comfortable with a good shower. They bring breakfast to the room early in the morning if you depart for Rinjani. The property is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the Rinjani medical check point and Rinjani park entry office.

We stayed here for one night. The rooms are super comfortable and clean. Definitely a plus to have a nice hot shower after a rainy day 🙏🏼. We enjoyed our morning with a lovely view of Rinjani. Would 100% recommend this place. Staff is super friendly. We had a really nice breakfast on the terrace of our little house. 10/10
