Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsRangsot Inn is a fantastic accommodation located in a beautiful, green environment just off Pemenang. It is run by a wonderful family who really make you feel at home. Great food: breakfast, lunch and dinner. 10 minute scooter ride from a quiet beach (Pantai Sire). Enjoyed it very much!

PolandWe have to go.
Wonderful experience of learning culture and art of traditional farming by local people. Family of owners is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It is an opportunity to see various processes of producing coffee, cashews and honey by traditional, natural methods. Bungalows very clean and comfortable. Area full of beautiful trees and other plants. Nearby 650m wildlife park - a jewel in Lombok. It was a perfect choice to stay.

PolandBe aware that the prayers will wake you up at 5:00 every day but it's normal almost anywhere on the Lombok island.
The hotel is in the very nice little village in the forest. Best experience! The owner and his wife are very helpful. Recommend to try out if you are looking for something away from the crowded and touristic cities.

IsraelYou may hear the sounds of the mosque at 5 AM, but the family lets you know about it in advance, and if you're traveling through the Muslim parts of Indonesia, you're probably already somewhat used to it..
Wow, what a wonderful stay! I was so happy to arrive after a long and exhausting day of travel. The place is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature. The room is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated with flowers, and has everything you need - WiFi, water, towel, and A/C. It instantly calmed me. Breakfast is simple and good, and the family is so kind and helpful. Incredible value for money in a lovely village. If you’re looking for a calm, local experience near Bangsal, this is the place. Highly recommended! Thank you so much 😊🙏

PortugalI would give six stars if I could! It’s hard to put into words the beautiful feelings I’m leaving Lombok with, and that’s all thanks to RangsGort Inn. This charming, locally-run guesthouse made me feel like part of the family from the moment I arrived. I was always comfortable, always welcomed. Abdul, the owner, is incredibly kind and attentive to every need of his guests. Dinners were absolutely amazing, thank you especially to Makanbagus for those unforgettable meals! And a heartfelt thank-you to Indri, who served me a delicious breakfast every single morning with such warmth. A special mention goes to Mullombok, who helped me create a fully personalized tour of the island. As a solo traveler, I always felt safe, supported, and in great company. Thank you all for making my stay in Lombok truly unforgettable. Matur Tampiasih 🌺

ItalyOne of the absolute highlights of my trip to Indonesia. This place is pure magic, nestled in nature, peaceful, and full of soul. The rooms are stunning: spacious, beautifully designed, spotless, and equipped with every comfort you could need. But what truly makes this place unforgettable are the hosts, incredibly warm, thoughtful, and always available. There’s a real sense of care and community here. Plus, there are so many great activities offered right at the property. I arrived as a guest but left feeling part of something special. 100 percent recommended, I’d come back in a heartbeat.

BelgiumThe slightly remote location makes you dependent on a scooter. If not, expect to pay a bit more than average price for services on the resorts.
Abdul and his family are nice people, they will try to make your stay comfortable. We went for a fun tennis table session with Abdul which was welcome as the rain was pouring.

UruguayWe went with 2 friends and upon arriving at the house, we were welcomed with a delicious cup of coffee. The house is new, very clean, and surrounded by nature. We walked just 5 minutes to a hill with an impressive view where you can see the Gili Islands and the mountain. Dinner was amazing!!! Featuring delicious traditional food full of authentic flavors. Without a doubt, the best meal I've had in Indonesia! All of this, combined with the peace and quiet of the place, made our stay absolutely perfect!

United KingdomNothing, everything was great :)
Abdul and the family were so kind and lovely they really made the stay and went above and beyond to help us especially with the rain! Beautiful scenic, quiet and peaceful location surrounded by nature in a village. Rooms had everything we needed and was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. Food was delicious, definitely definitely buy the homemade honey from Abdul- most delicious honey we’ve ever tasted. A range of activities going on - we didn’t do any as we were only passing through but a good range to learn about village life and get stuck in. Abdul informed us of these without being pushy. Worthy of note but not a negative: You can hear school children singing in the morning which may wake you up if you are a light sleeper but it was not a problem for us and did not go on for long.

SwitzerlandNothing really! Location could be tricky for some as it is quietly situated in the jungle (dreamy for us)! If you get your own wheels, a great share of adventures are opening up !
What a great stay! We initially booked 3 nights, ended up sleeping 8 nights in Rangsot Inn! The accommodation, a bungalow, was clean, tidy and comfortable with a seating space outside that was very much appreciated. The Inn is operated with the help of many family members that made us feel so welcome, from the first day to the last. It is a place that feels like home, with genuine interactions and a will to share experiences. Abdul and Doni went above and beyond to help us organise trekkings, diving certification, laundry, transfers, scooter, and did it with a lot of love! Special mention to the dinners, available for extra charge (yet fair prices) that were outstanding!

United KingdomNothing. Don’t change a thing!
This was an absolute gem of a find. We only stayed here for its convenience and proximity to the port but in hindsight we would have stayed longer if we had time. Such a lovely family who couldn’t do enough for us. The dinner was amazing and one of the best meals we’ve had in Indonesia. The room was clean and spacious. And the setting is great - tropical gardens in a quiet village. The sunset spot at the back of the property is awesome as well!
