Nothing to do with the accommodation, but Ubud is a bit of a nightmare to get in and out of. Traffic is horrendous!

Perfect guest house with everything you could want right in the centre of Ubud. It's a crazy, busy town & Ranggen Guest House is a calm oasis. Iluh and Putu were wonderful hosts - Putu drove us around the area on 1 day and took us to & from the airport. Breakfast was simple but delicious & served on the balcony or terrace.

A beautiful guesthouse, large nicely decorated rooms that are cleaned daily. A delicious extensive breakfast that you can enjoy on your own sunny balcony.The family is very friendly and helpful. Price quality is top. Also the location is perfect, quiet area and also in the center of Ubud. we have been there 5 nights and can recommend it to everyone.

Not the property's fault but it gets noisy sometimes with one loud motorbike at one of the neighbouring houses. Also had a Korean couple who talked very loudly in a room nearby

Location was great, a short walk away from everything in Ubud. Nice choices for breakfast served in the room or on the balcony. Everything was amazing at Ranggen and we'll definitely want to stay here again the next time we come to Ubud

Just the road bit narrow but it's located at Ubud, so understandable.

Location spot on, host and staffs are super friendly and helpful. The room well kept and very clean with Balinese feeling. The breakfast are great and well prepared. Me and my wife love it.

Excellent! A perfect little oasis from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. Perfectly located within walking distance of many restaurants as well as sights in Ubud. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed, was clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation in choosing Ranggen if we ever stayed in Ubud again.

I absolutely loved my stay at Ranggen Guest House! It’s conveniently close to Ubud Centre yet offers a private and peaceful retreat. The space itself is spacious, clean, and modern—perfect for a comfortable stay. Putu and his wife were incredibly accommodating, always checking in to ensure I had everything I needed. The breakfast each morning was a solid 10/10, and I was honestly disappointed when I had to miss it due to early morning tours. On my last day, my driver to Canggu canceled last minute, but Putu and his wife quickly arranged another driver through their contacts—something I truly appreciated! Their hospitality made my experience even better. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely return!

Honestly the most beautiful tranquil homestay/guesthouse in Ubud. Super sweet staff, the pool is lovely, breakfast is fine and the noise of Ubud is far away even though you are in the centre. Great value for your money, 10/10 recommend!

Ilu and the staffs are very nice and welcoming. They even help us to pack our breakfast in containers so that we can bring to airport and provided us with box for packing. The place is spotless, have a swimming pool and close to street market. Breakfast is served to our room each morning.

I loved everything about my stay. The room and property are fabulous. Breakfast was tasty and nice to enjoy on the balcony each morning. The location was great as it is just off the main street but away enough for peace. The water bottles, fresh towels, and room cleaning are offered daily although I opted for every 2nd day. There is a convenience store just across the street and a couple resto/cafes next door too. Great value. Lovely family hosts.
