Though the food in the accompanying restaurant (couple on mins drive by free shuttle) it is slightly annoying that you cannot just go there. There is a nice warung as well approx. 350m from the hotel. Note that the family room does not have separate bedrooms, but there is a big balcony terrace.

The Rajaklana resort is situated in a nice and bit more rural area close to Yogja that we really enjoyed after the hassle from multiple cities. The view from the infinity pool is amazing, staff is very nice and kind.

Nothing - though the restaurant is a kilometer away, they provide a good, personalised shuttle service to and fro

Everything - the view, the landscape, the chalet, the semi-outdoor bath tub, the food, the service, the ambience

    Nothing

It is a gem with a fantastic view into the valley. Small cottages with comfortable beds. The cottages are close to each other, so if you look for more privacy, you better ask for different rooms. The interior is nicely decorated and we loved the infinity pool with the view onto the valley. Also, the hotel offers shuttle service to their wellness & Spa facilities and restaurant, again with a fantastic view. We tried the massage and the food. Both quite nice.

Breakfast was a little basic and could be extended.

Location, the amenities, the friendliness of staff, the setting, the causal laid-back atmosphere of the resort. All a perfect getaway to find some peace.

The rooms we stayed in was next to a busy crossing. The sound of traffic throughout the night is disturbing. But this can be remedied by booking one of the many cottages far from the street. Some of the fixtures in the room also needs attention.

The staff is the heart of Rajaklana. They are absolute gold.

We were helped very well with very good service. My girlfriend and I were both sick, they helped us by bringing food and drinks to our room. They were easy to reach via whatsapp which made the contact very fast and good. Also the accommodation was very nice just like the pictures, and we had a very nice view from our room.

My stay at Rajaklana was nothing short of extraordinary, a truly unforgettable experience filled with comfort, tranquility, and warm hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine smiles and impeccable service, setting the tone for a relaxing retreat in a breathtaking environment. Nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by the natural beauty of Yogyakarta, Rajaklana offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The resort’s traditional yet elegant architecture blends seamlessly with the serene landscape, creating a peaceful sanctuary where time slows down. Every detail, from the intricate wooden carvings to the soothing sounds of nature, added to the charm and authenticity of the experience. My accommodation was nothing short of spectacular. The room was tastefully designed with a blend of modern comfort and Javanese heritage, featuring spacious interiors, luxurious bedding, and a private terrace that overlooked stunning views of the surrounding nature. Waking up to the soft rays of the morning sun, the chirping of birds, and the cool breeze was a refreshing and rejuvenating experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the resort’s exceptional hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every moment was enjoyable, always ready to assist with a warm and friendly demeanor. Whether it was arranging local tours, recommending hidden gems in the area, or preparing personalized meals, their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction made me feel truly special. The dining experience at Rajaklana was another delight. The on-site restaurant offered a delectable selection of traditional Indonesian cuisine and international dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Dining under the open sky, surrounded by nature, while savoring the rich flavors of local delicacies was an absolute treat. Beyond the comforts of the resort, Rajaklana also provided opportunities for relaxation and adven

If you want to get away from hustle and bustle of the city, this is the right place. I like very much for the beautiful nature, the view and environment. Many butterflies are flying around. The buffet breakfast is simple nothing special. We can order room service with many more choices for the restaurant that is around 1.5 km from the resort. The shower with good hot water is available. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The bathrooms were semi-outdoor and not extremely clean because of the leaves falling from the trees nearby.

The rooms were large and comfortable, the location was slightly away from the city which allowed for gorgeous views, we were never disppointed with any meal we ordered and it was able to be delivered straight to our rooms, and the staff were kind and accomodating

The restaurant was about 1.5 km away from the wooden houses, although they provide bicycles or shuttle van for free. The first experience we add with grilled fish in Indonesia, was not as we expected. The fish was a bit dry. But indeed the worst thing, which is not directly related to the hotel, was the singing and praying coming from 2 nearby mosques, even around 4 am.

The views and the overall space was very beautiful. We stayed in the wooden house section. It was original to have the private bathroom in a private outside space. The night view to Yogyakarta from the restaurant terrace was also beautiful. Good breakfast was served in the room space. We picked specifically a place outside city, but keep in mind that you need some transportation to the hotel. We used several types of transport, including grab app.

Having a split location was a bit confusing at the start, the restaurant was 1km up the road, and the big pool was green so we couldn't use it on the first day. But the staff did a great job getting the pool clean in 24hrs and the shuttle bus is a great solution so moving between the 2 sites :)

We loved everything, the rock room was special, yoga deck and pool amazing and very friendly staff. Views are magic. Cute cafes near by.

Beautiful resort in the countryside between the airport and Yoghjakarta. All the temples are farther away but the price is very good for what you get. There are two places to stay: one is for families with bigger houses, a pool and the restaurant and the original place which has smaller and not so nice houses, but a greater view and an infinity pool. There is a shuttle between both places. I stayed in the original resort. The rooms are fine. The beds were okay but the pillows were too hard. The cocks around the resort make a lot of noise in the early morning so it is not that quiet but so is the farm life. The breakfast is good, not very big, but yummie and included. The resort offers taxis, tours etc. but as so often it is much more expensive when you book with them.

I don't think I found anything that I didn't like. While their restaurant is about 1km away, they offered a free shuttle anytime we needed to get to the restaurant.

The room or rather villa was spacious with an open-air shower and bathtub. The room came with a fan and airconditioning and the bed was soft and comfortable. It was quiet and serene too which made for a relaxing holiday amidst nature. We had a fantastic view from our villa and access to the pool was just a few steps away. The pool afforded a spectacular view of the horizon (could only see sunsets as it faced west). What made it superb was that everyone who worked in the resort are super friendly and polite. When the gardening crew saw us heading down to the pool. they informed their colleagues to bring us pool towels! How considerate and kind.
