How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It’s small and OK for one person per room - a couple would probably find it limiting but OK if you just sleep here. Not really appropriate for children or the disabled as there are steep stairs with no outside recreation area.
Great location near the airport. I enjoyed having an English language news service (ABC Australia) on the cable TV Chanel’s. This will bring me back here in the future.

Noise was the biggest concern for me. There was a concert or singing of some sorts, which ended at about 9pm and started again at about 9am. The water pump was very close to my room so when I used it or when my neighbour used it, I could hear it rumbling quite loudly.
Great location to the airport, very comfortable bed and good water pressure. The TV was a huge bonus, I could watch cable TV and just unwind. The owner was very nice and welcoming. There's a big signboard outside, so you won't get lost.

Was no hot water but no big deal for one night since its so hot in Bali.
Great for a short stay before flying. Basic accommodation that's clean and comfortable and walking distance from the airport.

As usual for such peoperties, its in a courtyard. Don't expect for this cheap price any view. Courtyard is bit messy.
Perfect if you want to be close to airport (walking distance if you can manage your way through the different parking houses in front of airport) and southern area of Kuta. Clean, cozy good room, good aircon, good wifi, all worked well. Its very quiet and peaceful, friendly staff on duty to help. I would come again here for airport arrival/departure.

It would look .much better with a new hand of costing in the room I stayed... Otherwise solid for the price.
Large room in a quiet house in 10 minutes walk from the airport. Staff are friendly and even helped me to keep a backpack for several days as I travel around Bali on a scooter. Quiet and set around a traditional Balinese courtyard.

The locks of all the rooms and bathrooms are defective. The owner is a bit pushy about the payment.

There were a couple of ants in our room.
The location was very convenient. We landed at 1am in the morning so the close proximity to the airport was very nice. The host communicated self check-in instruction for us, was very nice since we were arriving so late. Host was nice too, we met them in the morning before leaving 😊

We stayed one night and for such a low price we were very happy! Quite a location, the room was clean, shampoo and hand wash were provided, the bed was very comfortable and the sheets smelled good and were very soft. Very friendly owner we checked out at 11.30pm and they been waiting for us to check out so late, definitely recommend

Was difficult to locate off the main road, sign could be larger and on the main road

Close to the airport. Good location food was only a few streets away.The hosts are very kind and room basic but everything you need for a short stay before/after flying. There's also many shops and food options nearby. Walking distance from Kuta beach.
