The only minor inconvenience internet not always available but this appears to be a common issue in Amed.

Great location on ocean front (stone beach) with good reef just meters from shore, many fish. Sae turtles every time I went snorkelling. 2 lovely pools, never crowded, property has lovely gardens, well spaced bungalows and rooms. My room was overlooking the ocean with huge balcony, spacious room with sitting area and tv incl. Netflix and you tube (internet connection not always available). Jug of drinking water, mosquito repellent provided, bed had mosquito net although I did not need it. Friendly staff throughout, food in the restaurant varied and of good quality. Other areas in Amed, snorkeling spots can be reached by walking or with a scooter. Lipah beach with great snorkeling only 10 minutes walk. Hotel also offers excursions/driver to inland parts. A very relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Great if you are here for diving , when asked about snorkeling ( as we were a group of 7 ) 3 of us were snorkeling .. only basic information given by the resort they were not really interested. We found people who took you out on boats at the ocean side of the resort , they were great , not part of the resort

Great location overlooking the ocean . Felt very relaxed . We booked 2 one bedroom apartments which gave us extra space . The 20 year olds had separate accommodation , we were close to each other . 2 pools you can use which everyone uses and found plenty of sun beds to relax by the pool . If you are here for diving .. plus learning to dive they do well at this

Breakfast options were extremely limited, especially if you stay longer than a couple of days. The restaurant food was good but with a limited menu, though there are plenty of other restaurants nearby. They don’t serve bottled water here; instead, they filter their own water which is served at the table. Several times, we couldn’t get beach towels because they had run out. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

We stayed 4 nights at Puri Wirata Dive Resort and Spa in Amed. For a 3-star hotel, it has a lot to offer. Our bungalow was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was large and clean. The hotel is located right by the sea, offering a stunning view of the sunrise (at least in july). The beach isn’t sandy, but it’s beautiful. Just swimming 30–40 meters from the shore, the area is full of coral reefs, colorful fish, and turtles. One day, we rented a boat and visited other locations to see the Japanese wreck ship, an underwater temple, and the turtle area. It was absolutely stunning. There are sunbeds by the pool with the sea right under your feet, making it perfect to relax and enjoy a swim in either the sea or the pool.

Nothing - it was perfect

Absolutely perfect stay. Quiet & peaceful. The rooms were large, very clean with fantastic balconies to look over the sea. The garden was full of beautiful frangipanis which were in flower. The other guests were very respectful & lovely. The staff were exceptional - friendly & helpful & made us feel at home. The food was fantastic & a great selection of vegetarian options. The vegetarian red curry was my go to nearly every day for lunch. Oh & the margaritas were the best I tasted in the whole of Amed. My friend who is an experienced diver said the sea life was remarkable. It reminded me of the old Bali. I’ll be back.

It’s 22 years old and shows it. Ants in the rooms, random stains here and there, wobbly doors. However this is what one would expect in an older beach chalet, so it’s not so bad.

The location is unparalleled in Amed, right on the beach. It has 2 small pools but they are enough. You can snorkel/scuba from shore, as well as use the services of the onsite dive center (amazingly nice crew). Food is very very decent, and very affordable.

The smell in the bathroom

I liked the location. Beach front resort is what I really wanted. You can swim just in front of the hotel. Take with you snorkeling equipment and coral shoes. The sea here is very calm. We saw different fish.

Fantastic outlook with 2 wonderful swimming pools. Every room has a sea view. The food was lovely and the staff were helpful, especially when the power went out all over Bali. We still got a cooked meal.

- if you would need TV, the selection is Not really there. Bit of YouTube and your Streaming Channels you want to use with your account - Internet Wifi needs to be upgraded- very Slow and you get kicked out - Beach: you need to know that its not a sandy beach and especially at low tide its quite hard to get into the water and over the corals - the menue does not change. If you stay there a bit longer, breakfast choices are getting Limited
