How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Booked to stay here but I don’t even know they actually have any rooms - they tried sending us to a different location & when we said no (in a completely different area on the island) they used the fact we’d paid to try & trick us into staying there & have refused to facilitate a refund in the time since we stayed. Have tried repeatedly to get them to help & waited a while to write this review to see if they would provide a refund but nothing has been done. So so annoying & surprised booking.com let people like this on their site.

Verified reviewThe bed was comfortable, and the staff were lovely and attentive when we needed anything, such as toilet paper or bug spray. The location was convenient—just a 10 to 20-minute walk from the main attractions and the beach.
The place felt unhygienic, and the pool remained dirty throughout our stay. There were no proper toiletries or even basic amenities like a kettle. The bathroom had a strong bleach smell, and the grounds were unkempt—more like a construction zone. It’s easy to see why the price was so low, and unfortunately, the photos online were much nicer than the reality.

Verified reviewDO NOT STAY!! If you're considering this place based on the glowing reviews, let me stop you right there—those must be fake. This place is a disaster. The garden looks like a mosquito sanctuary, completely neglected. The bungalow? Musty as an old basement, with dirty towels and sheets so questionable I’ve seen cleaner in a Bangkok back alley! Noise at all hours meant sleep was a distant dream. The toilet reeks, shower water is yellow and the water pressure is non-existent. The Aircon is just and ornament. Honestly, it's the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I fled after one night, and shocker—no refund. Now I understand why there’s no cancellation policy. Save yourself the headache and run far, far away from this place!

Verified reviewThe location of the villas is so central we could walk to most of the food locations and the beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful, we were able to hire a bike through them which made transportation so much easier around the island. Our room was cleaned every day and they were quick to do our washing. Staff were lovely and brought us coffee with a smile, we felt very at home here
The flush of the toilet wasn’t very powerful but with the hose you were able to assist with the pressure to flush completely

Verified reviewEverything was perfect! We ended up extending our stay since we loved the place so much! The installations are basic, but you get everything you need and the place is super clean. Super great location because it’s close to the beach and to many dive shops, restaurants and cafes! The staff come to clean everyday and there is a nice man offering you tea or coffee each morning as soon as you get to your balcony! The place is quite small with only a few bungalows so it’s quite intimate. The pool is clean and nice! They helped us rent a scooter as well and answered us and helped us if we needed anything!
