We had a wonderful stay at Puri Arta Villa! The place was very clean , calm and safe, even. It’s near the road, not remote area. Alex, who manages the villa, was super friendly and always ready to help. The hospitality was top-notch, and breakfast was great. It’s peaceful throughout, with markets, restaurants, and rice fields for running around nearby.

The price and location were amazing. Only 10-15minute into the main street of Ubud, but some good restaurants and mart right next door. Peaceful and quiet location. Pool was lovely to relax by. Alex was an incredible host. Nothing was too much, always willing to give suggestions on what to do and delivered a delicious breakfast on time with such a warm welcome every morning. I will be back!

Nothing other than, at peak times, the traffic from central Ubud is very slow. Other times or locations no issue.

Beautiful property in a very quiet rural location, rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable, nice linen and very clean. There is no reception as such but the owners live on site and are happy to help with any requests. Several warung and a convenience store close by. We travelled with friends who loved it as much as we did.

The only downside was getting to or from central Ubud, traffic is very congested. Going anywhere else was fine.

Alex was very Friendly, he always asked about our plans for the day and recommended some activities in UBUD. He brought the breakfast to our Villa by himself. The Villa was clean, the Pool was Great. Everything was Perfect

The villa is located 1.7 km from the city center. Normally we would have walked this distance, but there is only one small road where bikes and cars drive too. Especially at night it feels too dangerous to walk here. So we took a taxi everytime we went to the city (which is about 15 minutes and only 1 euro each time, which is very cheap).

We have stayed here 10 days and had a great time. The host is super friendly, a very nice and clean villa and pool. Great breakfast options and the best watermelon juice. Free mineral water available and a fridge in the outdoor kitchen.

We're ëlderly, and don't communicate by WhatsApp. And we keep our phone off most of the time. We should have told host that we communicate mostly by email. Our fault. Also, it would be good to note on the website that this property is not within easy walking distance of Ubud, but that taxis/Ubers are available.

Pool, comfortable and spacious. Host was terrific. Outstanding restaurant right next door. Affordable, with great food. Pizza was superb.

It's not easy to find where it's located at first but beautiful host, Alex, will come and welcome you!

With reasonable price, you can enjoy your own pool, clean room and bathroom. Located a bit away from the center of Ubud and surrounded by rice terrace, you can enjoy tranquil mood and very cozy.

The wall surrounding the villa was run down and could have used a bit more plants pr flowers, for example.

The private pool area was fantastic and the best to relax after a hot day touring around Ubud. Another top thing was the host, Alex, who greeted us with a big smile and he was always available to answer any question. The accomodation offered a lot of water, which was great and there were very good restaurant options in a very short distance from the accomodation. The surrounding rice terraces were beautiful, there was peace and quiet but also a short taxi distance to centre Ubud. The cleanliness was spot on, very clean and private property.

The property is a hidden gem. Well maintained. Very clean, pool is amazing. Alex and his dad are so friendly and always check in to make sure everything is ok. It’s a 20 minute taxi drive to the centre and if you use the GRAB app a taxi will literally be there in 2 minutes. We liked being out of the chaos. There are approx 6 restaurants / cafe within 10 mins walk. Also are a few small shops for water / Bintang. There is also an amazing spa (Cantika spa) within 10 minutes walk. Very very good and such good value.

Breakfast was average with limited options. While host communicated well and provided good basic service, it was not up to the typical Bali standard for this cost.

Alex and his family were very friendly and helpful during our day in the villa. The villa is in a quiet spot just 10 mins away from the main centre at monkey Forest. Perfect for those who wants a quiet rest and it is very quiet. We had good night rest everyday and the kids just love the private pool. Breakfast was amazing and freshly prepared by Alex and family. With the mosquito coil and the electric mosquito we place in the room we had barely any problems staying outdoors in the villa too! Much much better than the ones I stayed in Seminyak. Villa is also a short walk in from the main road, you get to see the rice paddy fields along the way!

There’s a one-way road near the location, so if you’re coming from a certain direction or from the city center, online taxi rides can end up being more expensive due to the long detours. Additionally, there’s construction nearby, which means there’s quite a bit of noise throughout the day. You do get used to it after a while, though. The host was very considerate, regularly checking in to see if we were comfortable and even offering to speak with the workers about the noise.

The villa exceeded all expectations — it’s both stunning and extremely comfortable. The pool, which seemed a bit small in the photos, turned out to be the perfect size with just the right depth for a refreshing swim. The host was exceptional — very friendly, always available, and eager to assist with anything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was a nice touch, with a decent variety of options that could be conveniently ordered the night before for delivery at a specific time. The location was ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything you might need, including shops and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa. Alex was super friendly, and welcomed us to his Villa. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool every day and massages from some local ladies. Breakfast included best banana pancakes and really good local coffee. We stayed 4 nights and would recommend this accommodation.
