Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI generally prefer smaller boutique properties, but this was one of the only higher end hotels with last minute availability. This made it feel less personal and also it was a long walk from the reception to our room. It also required a taxi to get into town.
Room was large and quiet (especially considering how many families were staying at the resort) with nice ocean view. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was the star of the show - lots of cuisines represented from around the world and very delicious. The beach in front of the hotel was nice.

AustraliaThere was mould in the bathroom and the bedroom also smelt like damp mould. You could see patches in the hallways where damp had got in and repair was done. The only place to eat is at the hotel unless you get the shuttle into Kuta.
Being right on the beach was 5-10min drive from kuta.

United StatesThe beach isn't great, the pool is only 1m deep, and there is nothing within walking distance. There is a shuttle to Kuta L. town, but it isn't always on time.
View from lobby is amazing. Staff were friendly, room was comfortable, and the food was good.

United KingdomIt looks very old and tired in the corridor areas and really bad foist smell in and around the conference and meeting rooms. Some of the furniture could do with upgrading.
Location was very good especially if staying for MotoGP, but they have NO rooms for that period ever. Food quality was good except the breakfast which was not warm during service. Choices area was big but variety poor.

France- Outrageously overpriced food and drinks for an inexpensive country. At least twice as much as comparable luxury hotels and five times as much as local restaurants. 24 euros for breakfast is two times the daily wage. Cocktails for 270,000 rupiah - are more expensive than in Paris and even at 2 for 1 happy hour more than other top hotels. We never ate at the hotel as a result, renting a sooter to go into town instead. - The beach is not useable since there are many rocks in the water and you need aqua shoes. The hotel has these but wants to rent them at 100,000 rupiah. What a ripoff!! Instead they should remove the rocks. - There is chipped or bubbling paint everywhere and some of the pool furniture is falling apart. This is just bad management in a country with highly skilled low wage workers.
Spectacular setting on private bay/beach and nice architecture. Comfortable room in good condition. Very large pool (although shallow so very warm water). Very friendly staff eager to be useful.

MalaysiaBeach need to look into so that travellers come not not enjoy the pool and f &b but other activities seems very limited. It's a resort to make the travellers remain and spend time you need to have a lot of activities at least the beach must be good and a lot of Rocks and artificial sands like quicksand...

AustraliaIt rained a lot during our stay (3 rooms) and water was leaking every where in the resort and in our room, bad smell in our parents room which wasn’t resolved. Service charge of 17% and GST 10% (total 27%) on top of the price should be clearly mentioned in the menu. We have been to Bali many times and weren’t been charged that high of service fee rate and definitely not with massage/spa service in any other hotels. Our aunty was not impressed by paying 27% after having her 90 minutes spa done. Three staff attended the dispute but due to communication issue, its not resolved. We had a chat with the manger asking for some compensation and was advised that we could have free upgrade only in Pullman Lombok in the future (no other hotels/resorts that part of Accor group)

NetherlandsThe buffet price is way to expensive. Even more expensive then 5 star hotel in a big city in indonesia. The playground for the kids are only for children not older than 4 years old. Is could be nicer if they provide more variaty of toys also for kids till 10 years old. The kids activity is too simple and not well prepared. We have expected more for a 5 star hotel.
The breakfast is good. Has a big variaty of food from western to local food. This hotel is a family oriented hotel and has good of swimming pool. The room is clean. The marshmallow bbq was great.

IndonesiaI recently stayed at the Pullman and found the internet connection process to be highly inconvenient and unfriendly for guests. To access the hotel internet, you are required to become a member of Accor’s ALL loyalty program. While membership programs are common, what I found unacceptable was being asked to surrender my email and password as part of the process. This requirement is concerning, especially for guests who rely on limited or sensitive email accounts. It raises valid concerns about privacy and security. Guests should not be forced to compromise their personal information just to access basic amenities like internet connectivity. Unfortunately, if you choose not to share your email and password, you are completely unable to connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi. This approach feels intrusive and creates unnecessary stress for guests who simply want a smooth and hassle-free internet connection. In my view, the hotel should consider revising its internet access policy to prioritize guest convenience and data privacy. A straightforward and secure process would undoubtedly improve the guest experience.
