How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Verified reviewThe bedroom was big enough and very clean. The bed was really confortable. The swimming pool area was huge and nice and we were the only people there in the afternoon. We had dinner in the swimming pool area while we watched the sunset. The staff was helpfull and friendly. The breakfast had a lot of options. We only stayed one night but this hotel was a really nice surprise and we highly recommend it.

Verified reviewIt was a short stay of a few hours before going to the airport. The room was spotless and perfect for a shower and a short rest before leaving. Will use this hotel in the future if leaving on a night flight. You can book a transit room for up to 12 hours. The hotel staff will take you to the Airport which is very close. Great value.

Verified reviewSmall hotel we used for one night due to late landing in Bali, and before travelling to Ubud. The place is fine for one night. Nice pool on rooftop and my wife appreciated a short session at the Gym, next to pool.
Rooms seems little old and needing some refreshment. Cleanliness might need little boost as well.

Verified reviewI liked that it was close to the airport. They also had carparks and the security guards were super nice and welcoming.
I didn’t like that they were trying to tell me that I didn’t pay and showed me a piece of paper saying that because my security number wasn’t showing that means the payment hadn’t gone through?? Like obviously the security numbers wouldn’t show because those are the only numbers allowing you guys not to hack my card?? I then proceed to show them my bank statement and because of a $1 currency fee they were saying that the numbers weren’t equalling the same?? Like it was over by $1 because of the currency. It was all very frustrating. They ended up getting the confirmation that the booking had been paid in full and allowed us to check in earlier than expected. Which was great. We proceeded to our room which was up 2 flights of stairs. No elevators mind you we had a lot of luggage I should’ve definitely checked that before booking. The stairs also have very limited aircon so it was very hot. We reached our room and it was very tidy but there were a few stains on the sofa bed next to the window. It’s very tiny and felt claustrophobic the aircon didn’t circulate around the room and you would only feel it if you were standing directly under it where the door is. I had a shower and the floor felt slimy and very slippery. The towels were very raggedy but the toilet was cleaned immaculately. They provided travel tooth brushes and tooth paste incase you needed which was good. It’s good for a very short stay.

Verified reviewAll the staff were great, our room and the property itself was very tidy & clean. Rooftop pool was fun, and the smoking deck on level 4 is a nice area. One thing every guest should do is have a massage here, Devi and Rosa have skills and technique that is genuinely amazing, best in the area from my experience. Overall, our family had a very enjoyable stay here, good food and shopping locations were close by, as was the airport when we sadly had to depart. An excellent value hotel that exceeded our expectations
Sometimes the air freshener was a bit overpowering in the elevator, no big deal.

Very small room, nil flexible with booking and check in. Booked a “deluxe room” nothing about the room was deluxe. Mosquitos in the room. Was extremely noisy in the room, could hear people in neighbouring rooms and loud construction going on around building. Very disappointing

Walls are so thin. Was woken up by children screaming in the pool (pool is on floor 5. I was on 3) and terribly loud construction right above us. I don’t know why they would put us in a room near construction. Did not get good rest. Location near airport but not really near shopping strip.
