Rooms were little rusty, hotel restaurants too far from the Villa. The rooms are not separated even if they are on two different floors, no intimacy possible. Breakfast was below standards, after sale taxes at restaurants were outrageous compared to outside restaurants.

The pool was being repaired when we arrived and was only half full. We were not advised of this at check in.

A huge resort area. Not many people were around at that time. Super cozy and beautiful. The location the best in the town I could say. In between the port and the main road with many restaurants. The breakfast is very good and huge.

The whole complex has been around for a while (probably late 90s), and maintenance hasn’t kept up with with the times, or with use of the hotel. An example: the blinds in the villa no longer shut properly, letting in lots of light. Housekeeping arrive quickly (we arrived late, and their quick response was good) and put sheets on the windows, as if they had done this before. The next day they arrived with blackout sheets, stapled to the window. It’s a solution that works, but makes you think if a five star hotel should be having these problems in the first place. There are tiles missing in the pool. The barrier which should stop leaves and flowers circulating in the pool has been broken, and only partially fixed. The breakfast menu seems stuck in a loop (the food is decent, but could be so much better if someone gave the whole service a bit of a kick). We arrived on a Friday, and found that there was an even planned in the hotel on the Saturday (Merumatta Xckusive, “7 till we drop”. The hotel made no mention of this, and the music went on and on, forcing you out of the room (the glass in the bathroom rattled with the bass, especially in the sound check, at least 400m for the stage). We assumed it would finish at 11, no problem. At about 11.40 we stayed asking reception when it would finish, being promised 12, then 12.30, then ‘soon’. It eventually stopped at 12.47. We left on a Thursday at 12. There was already another event underway, with a stage, with music (although quieter). No idea how this would develop during the weekend. The management here need to be very careful: if they don’t use some of the income they make to renovate the property, it will no longer be desirable (and even that desirability is fading). And if they continue to make money from events that the hotel guests may not be interested in, that desirability will disappear completely.

In its time, this was a great place. And the greatness lasts… in a way. We stayed in a Pool Villa, direct access to a seriously long pool, which is great. And the villa has pretty well all you want (although, if you think a Pool Villa with 4 beds means you’ll be getting 2 bedrooms, think again. The two extra beds are in the lounge, and aren’t separate from this living area). Everything is really clean, the staff are exceptional, but there are details, some bigger than others, which let the place down.

The villas are getting old and need some renovation. The 2 single beds from the children have been really uncomfortable.

The Villas are all nicely located near a 100 m pool loop. They are fully equipped. There is a nice garden/park around the facilities with a 1.5 km path. The garden is maintained really well. You can watch the sunset near the Italien restaurant with a nice cool drink.

Jacuzzi not practical as it’s too big to fill up and runs out of hot water at ankle depth already.

Breakfast had a lot of variation, quality was okay-ish. We had all our dinners outside the resort: several good options nearby the resort. Also, the Orchid Spa outside the resort (5min walk) is highly recommended for a massage. Resort and restaurant staff was super friendly but lacked skills and organisation; we felt there were many trainees. Wifi was functional but sometimes unstable. This resort has true potential to become an excellent resort if they get their ducks in a row: a bit more attention for maintenance, well trained and organised staff and better prices for food and services could make this resort a gem in Senggigi. We read reviews so our stay certainly met expectations. We left with a smile and had a great stay.

This resort is located in a great area at the beach. The poolvillas with direct pool access are fantastic when you are with 4 people (same price as 2 standard hotel rooms); book a poolvilla or nothing. All facilities are a bit worn down but it certainly has not lost its charm. Staff gets an A+ for friendliness and their smiles.

The pool are looks a little tired. The decking area where the sun lounges are located for the beach needs updating and repair.

The villa was super spacious & very comfortable for a family. The resort is on the beach and Sengiggi is a great location to base yourself to explore Lombok & the Gilli's.

We tried the lunch/dinner restaurant, and we have to agree with other reviewers that it was not very good. Service slow and unattenive. Pizzas were for sure frozen pizzas from the super market spiced up with a little extra cheese and toping - not good. Breakfast was in the low end of quality, but ok. Hotel is worn. But the villas worked well. Beaches look like …. We simple don’t understand why there is so little effort to clean them. They are of no use unless you love swimming in trash.

We stayed in a pool villa with access to large long pool. As far as we could see - choose the villas or nothing. Room was very clean and cleaned well each day. We just came from Tropik Resort in south Lombok were cleaning was a disaster, so this was good to experience. Hotel is worn down, but it still works and at a good price it is a fine place to stay. Breakfast is varied. You can get omelettes, cerial, bread (pretty poor bread, but when you are from Denmark most bread worldwide is bad (quality)). Long pool was very nice and also seemes clean - except for leaves of course. Overall the hotel lived up to expectations because we read reviews.

Breakfast in the main restaurant very poor. Probably one of the worst breakfast we have had in a hotel. Also service at the Basilica restaurant was very slow and having had a long journey waited over half a hour just to get a drink. Room service arrives cold. Food at Basilica also not great. Expected much better for the star of hotel

The pool Villa’s spacious, well appointed. Dressing room, double sink, shower, hot tub looking out to pool though took ages to fill. Very comfortable bed. Own access to pool with a pool lounger. Could do with better lighting as was a bit dark. Overall pool villa was really lovely. Staff exceptional always polite, smiling and helpful.

The resort itself was little run down - Villa pool bar was closed as was the Villa Restaurant. Villa spa takes forever to fill and the hot water runs out even in the inside bath which was a little disappointing.

Beautiful outdoor swimming pool and the view from my villa. Spacious and perfectly organized facilities. Breakfast buffet near the beach was very good. Walking in the fantastic garden with a lots of tropical trees along the beach side after the breakfast was really good. The beach just right beside the garden was so clean that I had lots of fun in the beach. Easy access to the restaurants with good local food and the "Fresh Market" within at most 10 minute walk.

The breakfast location for pool villa guests change without notice....on our first day of breakfast, it was at nearby breakfast corner at pool villa but for the second and third day of breakfast, we need to walk to Rinjani Restaurant for the breakfast although some of us utilised the buggy facilities...
