Through no fault of the owners, the traffic starts very early in the morning and the homestay is on the main road. So if you’re wanting complete peace and quiet, then this doesn’t suit. However if a small amount of traffic noise is bearable for you, in terms of accessibility to other places, the location is perfect.

The family are very sweet and friendly. They’re happy to talk and are very accommodating, but not overbearing. The homestay is very well kept and the breakfast is yummy. There’s also some really decent places to eat or grab coffee really close by.

My room was on a road that had quite some traffic, my bathroom was really not nice. Even if they tried to clean it better, there was a bad smell. Eventually I changed accomodation as i was longing for a bit higher standard. But good cheap option for basics.

I didn’t shower in 2 days because the water coming out of the tap is brown. The bed cover smelled bad like it hadn’t been to laundry. The room is directly next to a busy road so was loud

I had a wonderful stay at Pondok Taman Asri Homestay. The family was very kind and welcoming, which made the place feel really homey. The breakfast was tasty, the room was clean and spacious, bathroom was also clean with a hot water. It’s in a quiet location, not too far from the center of Ubud, so it’s easy to get around while still enjoying peace and relaxation. Overall, a really nice place to stay — I’d definitely recommend it!

It was very dirty, we bought cleaning materials from the market, cleaned it first and then stayed. We did not use the sheets. The room was very stuffy because there was no window to ventilate it. The bathroom was also stuffy, the smell of damp was always in the room. The shower head was broken and it kept turning.

The location of the facility was close to the center. However, the opposite field was not good. Mosquitoes and large lizards.

The property was very pretty, great air conditioning and a balcony to sit outside. Location was perfect- out of the way of the busy streets but still only a short walk into the main town. The owners were lovely and very accommodating despite us arriving late at night after our flight delays. Breakfast was delicious.

The building is beautiful, the room spacious with comfy bed. The location is good, about 15min walk front the city center. There are two options for breakfast: pancake or omelette, both were good! The host very nice, spoke a good English. We would definitely recommend it! The price/quality ratio was definitely good!

The house is located directly by a busy street and you can hear every sound. It was almost impossible to sleep for me. If you’re sensitive to electricity, it’s also a problem because there is a major poller just in front the house. Also it was not really clean and smelled a bit dusty.

The towels smelled a bit like mildew and the shower was very difficult to control temperature, either very cold or too hot and took so long to regulate.

Amazing Homestay, feels like real home! The best wifi of the island! Stable and fast!!!! Managed by a hardworking family doing everything to make you comfortable. Right outside is a rice field, laundry, fresh juice shop, and restaurant.
