I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The service was amazing – everyone was super kind, always smiling, and ready to help with anything I needed. I felt very comfortable and safe the whole time. The place is beautiful and the breakfast was incredible. What really stood out to me was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. I 100% recommend this place,I would definitely come back without a doubt – it was one of the best parts of my trip.

All was good!

My boyfriend and I initially booked 9 nights but ended up extending for another 10. The homestay is nothing short of exceptional: the bungalows are well-furnished and tastefully decorated, the swimming pool is very clean, the garden is lovely, the breakfast is home-cooked and filling, the dog is adorable and the hosts are just delightful. The location is great as well. A wonderful place managed by wonderful, hard-working people. If you come to the Padang Padang/Uluwatu area, stay here: you won’t regret it.

Rooms were clean & spacious with nice balcony & bathroom. air con worked well. The pool was nice and there were lounge chairs and umbrellas available. Breakfast was good. Owner was kind and very helpful, and their dog is adorable! Fairly close to restaurants & beach with a scooter.

There was some construction noises in the day but that wasn’t an issue as we were out mainly in the day. Apart from that there really isn’t anything we didn’t like!

We stayed for 4 nights but could definitely stay longer. The property was lovely and clean! It’s in an isolated area but grabs were super cheap to get around, there’s a little market a minute walk away which was super ideal. Ulan and the whole family are the sweetest people and the breakfast was homemade and amazing with a nice selection to choose from. Couldn’t recommend this place more and would definitely come back!!

Bit of construction noise around

Perfect for longer stay. The bungalow is very spacious with many balconies and chill areas. We really enjoyed our time there and the host is super friendly and helpful. We even could have breakfast every day in our bungalow.

The towels were not fresh everyday, some times there was sound of the reconstructions.

The bungalow was so nice, the ceiling was high and gave a luxurious vibe. The pool was open 24/7 but was really quiet. The breakfast was homemade and really yummy. Wulan took great care of me! The location is also nice, 10-15 min with the scooter to Padan padang beach. A supermarket and spa is on 1 min walking distance.

My stay at Pondok Kembar Homestay was lovely! The bungalow was very nice and clean. The owner Wulan is very kind and was always easy to reach and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the bed was super comfortable. All the facilities were excellent and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend staying here — I’ll gladly come back in the future!

The host was super nice!! I had to leave in the morning before breakfast time and she made me a sandwich for on the way :)!! Also very good located on the main road, close to the center. With scooter everything was close and easily accessible!! And the breakfast was really big and good!!

The property is very clean and well maintained!! Facilities were all in working order! As per uluwatu you need a scooter to get around so dont think you can walk to everything. The location is in a quiet spot! Ooran (apologies if thats not spelt correctly) is very helpful and warming! She does a very amazing job looking after the place! Highly recommend!

Location is very convenient and Armoni and Awula are just the best hosts. Super kind and considerate. I felt very comfortable staying in their home. The breakfasts are great and a nice included extra. Minor improvements needed but nothing major as it was perfect for what I needed as a solo traveller needing somewhere to rest.

Minor things - a fridge in the room would be nice. Also description said 2 queen beds in room, it was one queen (tbh felt like a king!!) and what looked like a single (maybe king single). Not an issue for me but could be for others. Final - it was very rainy in my stay..... I think Wulan can control the weather so I blame her (joke!) 😂😎

The hosts are such beautiful people. I had no cash (only card) to tip driver on arrival. They covered the tip and I paid them back - helpful from the first to the last. Beautiful recommendations on places to visit and eat but also gave me enough space to do my own thing. Setting is very quiet and bed comfortable so no issues in terms of sleep etc. Good hot water in the shower which I loved. Pool was clean and seating comfortable. Not sure pictures in listing do it justice. Would highly recommend to anyone - as I said first up the stay is worth it alone to meet Wulan and Anemoni (sorry for spelling!). They were really wonderful to spend time with!!!

Everything was a bit messy in the common areas. We booked a driver and the ferry to Nusa Penida through Wulan but they were quite late so we had to take another ferry. It was also alot more expensive than just booking yourself with a driver through Gojek and a ferry through El Rey.

The breakfast was great and very filling. The room itself was clean and the aircon worked well along with the wifi. The pool was also nice. The staff was very hospitable.

Limited to where you can go without a bike but I wouldn’t hold this to the property, I think it’s how Ubuds layout is. However if you have a bike it’s great or book a grab

The property is in an amazing central location if you have a bike otherwise the walk could be a bit long to places, perfect for exploring everything Ubud has to offer! The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, providing a really comfortable space to relax. The WiFi was excellent, which made staying connected super easy. While the food was really nice, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’d definitely recommend this place for a great stay in Ubud!

You can't go wrong staying here. Can't recommend enough to stay at Pondok Kembar Homestay, staying with the owners Armoni, Wulan and Tiko. They will make you feel like at home and help you in anything needed, I feel like they're my extended family in Indonesia
