The place is the Best in Bali. And Yayak and the staff took really care of us. Specially with some health care issue in Mont Batur. I will be allways be greatfull to them. Very local life, the place show the view on caldera, volcanos, fruits trees as oranges and avocado. Even long steps to go down and up, it's fantastic to stay there and two nights are really good to enjoy. Go there with no regrets, just hapiness.

It's a bit hard to get to and out of place. The hill is quite steep and there's a lot of steps. If it's windy there is not always a hot water.

The view was amazing! We watched sunrise from the bed. Place is calm, there is no people around. Personal was very helpful and honest. Breakfast was like at home, made with love.

The flies are very disturbing..And you have to go down a lot of stairs to reach your room..It was difficult when we were leaving with our luggage, but the staff helped us😊

Just the fact it was a hike to get anywhere once you were at accommodation, no a/c which we didn’t need at the time we were there, no tv which isn’t a deal breaker either but if weather was bad could be.

The view was absolutely amazing fabulous location but not for people who have mobility issues! My husband is super fit and even he struggled with the walk down and up. It’s very steep sections going down and lots of steps. Lucky we were on a bike so only small amount of luggage.

Nothing as such … the property is only about 6mo old and a couple of suggestions for improvements a) a fridge in the room b) extra bedding ( a blanket) as it gets chilly at night and a little dank in the clouds c) we had no hot water at all :( As other reviews have mentioned you don’t get those views without a work out …. 157 stairs AND about 100m of a steep ramp so be prepared and take your supplies ( wine/beer / nibbles whatever) down with you .. you only want to walk up once a day !! … however on our last day we hiked it out of there with our packs on our backs and a smile on our faces ( the owner did offer to carry them for us but we challenged ourselves. )

* THE VIEW !! Insane views (although there is a tree that needs the top 2 branches lopping so you can see Agung from the rear right Villa). * Great wifi * The bed was really comfortable. * The owner was friendly and eager to assist and communicated via what’s app re breakfast time etc.

Please be aware of the very very steep path down to the property. I didn’t have much luggage but should you have a lot of cases this is not the property for you. Also there are no signs from the main road down to the property. You have to follow your nose. Flies - these are infamous to the Kintamani area but perhaps a basic fly swat could be provided in the room.

The view from Pondok Devana is 100% what you come for. I won’t lie, the tacky sign next to a public toilet on the main road alerting me to the fact I had arrived at my hotel concerned me, but as I followed the steep (very) path and steps down to the actual rooms, I was met with surprise and delight. Pomo met me and showed me to my simple, but clean and comfortable room. There are 4 rooms on the property and they all face the mountain. Pondok Devana kintamani is clean, comfortable (note the bed is firm which I love), has a fan should it get warmer (I was perfectly comfortable without it), tea and coffee making facilities and 2 bottles of water for you to use. The wifi was good and the bathrooms were simple but, most importantly, clean. A simple breakfast of omelette and toast in the morning is served at a time convenient to you. I was made to feel welcome and Pomo said the only thing important to him was my 100% happiness which I was.

The Mountain View here is really amazing! Pomo and his wife have been very helpful during our stay, and they cooked very delicious breakfast!! Each night we saw the stars and we woke early for the sunrise view, it felt very surreal, particularly when we live in the city. The room was very clean as well!! Thanks for hosting us!

This isn't bad, and it is advertised well, and they message about it while confirming the booking. But keep in mind It's ~ 16 flights of stairs down to the villas. We couldn't figure out if there was hot water, not a big deal for us as it was still warm out, and the soap and shampoo weren't labeled. There is no reception, but there are people around the area you can ask who know the villa is there. The general area has lots of flies.

The morning view was exceptional, the rooms were very clean. Pomo was very welcoming and helpful bringing bags down and up to the villa, as well as explaining the area. Breakfast was tasty! And the tea was good. We would stay again!

It had amazing view. No one around. The staff were very kind and helped us with everything. The cabin is comfortable, has everything you need, is clean, and has hot water. The only thing is that there are steps leading to the cabin, so good physical fitness is required. However, this is compensated by the peace and beautiful view.

We really enjoyed our stay in these apartments! The staff was very friendly, explained everything to us, and showed us around. Our apartment was cozy, very clean, and had an amazing view of the lake, two volcanoes, and the mountains. The room had everything we needed, and the private bathtub on the terrace made our stay even more special – we even took some great photos there. The breakfast was tasty. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would love to come back!

The location is outstanding, definitely worth the descend through the beautiful orchard with avocado, dragon fruit.
