Great location, central to most activities. After a busy day it was always refreshing to come back to.

For the price, it’s great value.

A lovely homestay in a great location tucked away off the main road. Quiet, peaceful feeling with a beautiful big garden, pool and spacious rooms. Owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, from pancakes to mi goreng, good coffee and juice. The cooking class was fun, and we prepared many dishes to share with our group for dinner and given the bountiful leftovers. Chris had plenty of ideas & tips for things to do and helped & encouraged us to hire a scooter, so we enjoyed a great day out exploring the beautiful coastline of Lombok.

    Nothing, the homestay exceeded expectations.

I had a great time at Anggrek Putih Cooking Class in Lombok. The place is very beautiful and quiet. The teachers were kind and friendly. We learned to cook several traditional Indonesian dishes. The vegetables and herbs came fresh from their organic garden. The class was fun, easy to follow, and good for beginners or experienced cooks. I really recommend this activity if you visit Lombok!

We only stayed for one night, and sadly missed the cooking class as we arrived later in the day. But the facilities for it looked great. The property itself was really beautiful. I enjoyed some nice chats with Chris, the Greek owner. A nice chap! He provided advice for getting food nearby and even provided me with a free beer to go with my takeaway - a lovely touch.

We had issues with hot water, but as it was so warm outside it didn't bother us hugely but may be an issue for others. I did mention to Chris after we checked out and he said he would look into it. Other than that, a lovely stay - albeit way too short!

It's a lovely little oasis with cozy rooms, a pool, a beautiful garden and a comfortable cooking area. Chris, his family, and the staff are amazing - we had a blast during the cooking class! Chris helped us organize a Mount Rinjani tour and even provided a backpack and warm clothes. He showed us around the garden, shared gardening tips and generously gifted us some of his seeds. We absolutely loved our stay!

Wonderful Stay at Anggrek Putih Eco Resort – Private Bathrooms & Excellent Cooking Class! I had a fantastic one-night stay at Anggrek Putih Eco Resort and also took part in their cooking class — both experiences were 5 stars! Let me clear up a mistake I saw on Agoda: each room has a private bathroom with hot water. The toilets and showers are not shared — this information is incorrect and should be updated. I stayed there myself and can confirm it’s very clean and comfortable. The cooking class was another highlight — a beautiful experience with fresh ingredients and kind instructors. It’s a great way to learn about local food and culture. Some people mention horses in the area — that’s true in many villages in Lombok, it’s part of the local tradition. The don't have BMW or Aston Martin But the resort doesn’t use horses for transport. Instead, they support Grab and Gojek apps, which is great because many hotels block them. This makes it easy and affordable to get around. Highly recommended for travelers who want peaceful surroundings, authentic experiences, and friendly staff. I’ll definitely come back! For lunch or dinner highly recommended the cooking class and pasta pojok.

The bedrooms are spacious and the property is lovely with a nice swimming pool. The cooking class was a great experience, it was cool to cook with products from the garden.

Just be aware it’s a bit far from the center and shops (but you can use Grab & Gojek).

Large rooms very clean staff is exceptional, is little oasis , christos and dewi is the best host ever. People say that the location is far from the city! Is exactly one kilometer from the ampanan ,three kilometers from senggigi. Yes, you need a scooter to get around. the host will provide you tips to do stuff around alone, but also can provide you tours , is partners with authentic lombok tours, number one tour guides in lombok for snorkeling and culture tours , guest rooms have hot water private balcony and all rooms have views to garden and pool, the building is Victorian style painted antique, so don't look for modern designs. I need to make note: it is a must to make the cooking class with garden tours, is life time experience is not accidentally number one one TripAdvisor and Google maps Thank you for your hospitality Dewi

The room, setting and staff were amazing. The backyard and pool is truly a tropical oasis. Cris and Dewi are excellent hosts, helping us with tours, transportation, laundry and even some visa related questions. The breakfasts were very good and we enjoyed the garden and feeding the catfish

The location is out of the way. You need a car or scooter to go anywhere. The nearest beaches in Senggigi aren't great.

-rooms were big and spacious with lots of places to put things. -breakfast was amazing, best we’ve had in 5 months of travelling! -there is a pool and a cooking class. They also help with renting scooters and laundry. -the staff are very nice and helpful whenever you need something.

-the rooms could have a slight update/made more modern - but this wasn’t an issue for us. -this is not the accommodations fault, but as you leave the gates there are two horses who are kept on rope and used for a horse and carriage. It was very hard and sad to see the horses in the same position (or used to drag heavy things on their back) every single day, so skinny and they looked so sad just stiff in the same place unable to move all day. As a vegetarian seeing this sort of thing made me really upset. -again, not the accommodations fault, just a note at how noise the mosques around the area were. I was woken up nearly every morning at 4am.

An oasis with gorgeous gardens and buildings. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. The outdoor balcony had comfortable seating overlooking the pool and gardens. The staff exceptional.

The property was not within walking distance of anything interesting and the mosque loud speakers were intrusive.

Lovely quiet area, very comfortable and clean rooms. The pool is lovely to swim in. We didn’t do the cooking class which seems to be the main attraction of this accommodation and we regret not doing so! As a place to stay it is really well set up, however we were the only ones staying in the accommodation at the time so it was a bit quiet.

The owners Chris and Dewi are great hosts and is inspiring to see how they were able to build this amazing place from scratch. The room is basic but has all the necessary amenities: hot water, air conditioner, refrigerator, kettle, and even a balcony with a view of the garden. The location is off the beaten path which adds to the serenity of the place. It is located between Sengiggi and Mataram so it is easy to travel to either and it was always easy to find a nearby Grab driver. The breakfast includes eggs or delicious pancakes always served with fresh local fruit directly from the garden. The cooking class is a must-do activity when in Lombok, Salma and Dewi are incredible teachers and the food was delicious all made with local ingredients from the garden.

Everything! The place is great, and Chris is the best host we ever had. He was incredibly helpful and gave us great advice about what to do in Lombok. Thanks to him, we took our first surf class, and we loved it! It's a shame we didn't have time for the cooking course, but we'll definitely do it if we come back.
