How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Toilet, shower, kitchen. most of the time not clean.
Staff, location, bed, AC. all were good. Its my 3rd time staying there. I have spent more than 15 nights total in this place.

The smell from the bad room wars in room 404 horrible. Breathtaking in the literal sen. Not much cooking stuff in the kitchen
The stuff wars very nice. The room clean., nice roofgarden.

Staff at reception dont speak English at all and they were not willing to help as they answered my questions by saying 'I dont know" and they did nothing to try to find out. The staff are not prepared to deal with foreigners.
The beds were comfy and the air con was always on. The location was not bad.

They don't have elevator so need to use stairs. Don't accept card payment at property but can pay online by card. The room didn't had soap tooth brush and shampoo but it's alright since had my own. The AC need to be fixed because it wasn't cooling properly at all.
It was not very far from airport probably 30 -35 minutes. There were food stalls nearby and a laundry opposite to the hotel so can wash clothes there paying the sum amount. They had common kitchen where can make food hot and had kettle for Hot water also had mini refrigerator in the common area.

Old building with a lot of Mosquitoes around you and only one of the staff who speak English , i couldn’t hang on there for more 2 nights

Maybe I was being a spoiled brat. But the towel when I took shower wasn't there, only sent out after I took shower and asked for it. I had to dry out myself using old clothes. There was several tips and tricks of hotel that I may not accustomed to : 1. Wifi pwd was written on the wall on my way up (didnt pay attention) so I was wondering where it was in the room (used to have either on the key pockets or acrylic info in the hotel room) 2. Turned out the room is on the third floor (had my exercise for sure) 3. Not much place to eat since it was in a alley sort of way 4. The key is in the acrylic and had to be slotted. Being a brat I didnt know that I had to take out the key card from the acrylic to put that in so I put it outside since acrylic can not be slotted in, electric kept going off. 5. No hot water 6. No telephone in the room, so I had to communicate via booking.com. Otherwise I had to go 3 levels down and up to get any information.
What I like the most is it feels like hostel. So you can feel the crowd of people sitting down (although minding their own business and busy with the handphone) The table for work was proper and have sufficient space for other thing. Private bathroom for that price was a a steal. Snack corner at ground floor helps. Going upstairs using hostel sleepers keep the area clean. Love the open garden, with urban view.

Broken night light in bunk bed . Cannot totally close the curtain, it was little bit short if you care.

Offers no breakfast and the place has a mosquito problem. The building can be a bit noisy.
Superfast WiFi, with many people working in Jakarta living in the dorm. The double bed rooms are basic and a bit cramped. Staff is really friendly and speaks a bit of English. Maybe not ideal for tourists wishing to explore the city.

The bathroom had a weird smell and the water pressure was very weak. Also we didn’t have hot water on some days

Good room for this price. Air-conditioning was a big plus. Earplugs were necessary for me because of the mosque right next to the hostel.

Bathroom not clean. Had a corrission in my bathroom. Smelly odour. Beware of many mosquitos.
Super affordable price. Got decent private room with only arround IDR 200k equipped with comfy bed, AC, private bathroom, towel and mineral water. Perfect for those who are on a budget.

The water pressure in the private room was low and there was no hot water so taking a shower at night would be a long cold one. The amenities in the bathroom should be regularly checked and upgraded. The faucet was broken so the water kept running the whole 3 nights we were there. I told the staff about it but i guess it wasn't much he could do... not his fault. The AC in one of the rooms we were staying didn't work properly also. But to be honest, I can't even get mad because the price we paid for is very low so yeah.
Definitely was very close to JIEXPO Center as we wanted to be within walking distance to DWP Music Festival.

no elevator so if book private room it will be on 3rd floor.. someone who has 30kg carrier luggage like me it was hell but the staff kindly helped to carry up and down so Im very thankful. shouldnt be a problem if you dont have many things. the facilities is abit old, took awhile to open the door and remove key, the access card doesnt fit the power connection so have to just put it on top err and cant close the bathroom door.. not sure its just my room 303 but yeah still bearable, not too bad.
the ambience, design, location is perfect. very aesthetically pleasing and just nice for backpackers, also near with the city. good for value and the staff is super polite and helpful. cheap place with a high quality looking place (interior & concept). near with market.
