Such a beautiful peaceful place to stay, espeically as a solo traveller. I would definetly stay here again, the host was brilliant, really made my stay a beautiful one :-).

The bathroom isn’t the greatest with no window or fan for air/ventilation and a small hot water system. Nothing major though!

The space and outdoor area/pool are very beautiful - great atmosphere! And the staff are super lovely and helpful. You can hire a scooter from them as soon as you get there which is very convenient. There are some good restaurants in walking distance too so you don’t have to scooter at night time if you don’t want to. The restaurant out the front is one of the best though! We loved the chicken satay and had it two nights in a row. There’s also a supermarket and ATMs in walking distance too. The bed is big and comfy and the aircon works great. Overall beautiful stay!

We checked-in late ( pre-informed) but the staff was calling us asking when we will arrive, he doesn't seem to like it, which was not a good experience. Housekeeping staff was lovely, no issues there. Drinking water is payable, which was odd as if you need water at 3am there's no way you'll get it as restaurant gets closed.

Property is clean and well maintained. Swimming pool is excellent( no geckos around)

The bathroom door was made of transparent glass. But I heard that the rooms are new, so they want to fix it with some kind of covering. The bathroom lacks a ventilation opening or a window. These are minor issues, otherwise, everything was fine.

Everything was fine. The manager called us in advance to ask when we would arrive. The staff was pleasant. The pool was nice. There were hardly any flies in the room, which is sometimes common in Bali.

It’s not very easy to find on grab/get picked up from as it isn’t actually marked on their map, but this isn’t the properties fault obviously.

It looked exactly like it did on the website. Everything was clean, extremely spacious rooms, the pool area was stunning and the whole aesthetic of the place was incredible. The staff were so helpful and polite, there is also a really nice restaurant at the front of the property which was convenient for breakfast etc.

Just the toilet. It doesn’t have that much hot water especially in the evening and it has this smell. I hope they fix it or maybe just in that room.

The location is perfect! The vibe and the design are very aesthetic and calm! The staff are friendly. Warung and spa are near to it. Pool is really pretty! Amazing amazing lovely! Recommended!!! 💯

Clean and spacious room with good quality bathroom and bed linen. Ideal location, far enough from too much activity but close enough to most attractions by taxi. Their breakfast and all meals at their restaurant were 10/10 Just 5 villas in the compound, hence some peace, quiet and intimate vibe.

Had an amazing stay at these cozy villas! The property has just five charming villas centered around a lovely pool, giving it an intimate, peaceful vibe. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. It’s in a perfect location—quiet and relaxing, just outside the hustle of Uluwatu but still only a few minutes’ ride from beautiful beaches and surf spots. The breakfast was tasty, and the stay was great value for money. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to unwind and explore the area!

The only downside was a strange burnt smell that appeared one day during our stay

Our stay at Palacio Balangan was fantastic! The villa is brand new, and we were thrilled to be the very first guests. Everything we needed was right there. The location is also very convenient, with a supermarket just a 5-minute walk away. It was a wonderful experience, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable stay!

I don't like the bathroom. The water from the bumgun smells so bad. Don't use it. Also hot water only lasts for 3 minutes and no ventilation in the bathroom.

The pool, furnishing, and nice location. It is within a bubble of restaurants and a massage place. It is away from the centre, but if you hire a bike that should be fine. Also lovely staff.

Not recommended — the owner was aggressive and tried to scam me during checkout. I would not stay here again because of how I was treated at the end of my stay. After I paid the bill, the owner appeared out of nowhere, started yelling at me, saying I would have bad karma, literally cursed me, and demanded extra money, even though I had already paid the full bill shown by reception. I had to leave the property and order a car from the side of the road, feeling unsafe and shocked. Here’s a quick breakdown of my experience: Pros: • Nice bali-style furniture and a clean pool area • They tried to create a modern look • At first glance, good value for money Cons: • mold on the walls, weird plastic ceiling, and a shelf that fell off the wall during use • No real hot or cold water — just one fixed lukewarm temperature • Very hard to get transport if you don’t have your own bike — taxi apps often don’t work in this area • They overcharged me for water at checkout (charged $20 instead of $2) • And finally, the disturbing experience with the owner yelling and making threats It’s a strange place — some nice touches, but I left deeply uncomfortable overall. Stay elsewhere if you want peace of mind.

No ventilation in the bathroom, dirty bed liner, dirty closet ,smell off smoke from burning rubbish outside every evening off our stay! We left 2 days early due to unbearable air,we didn’t get any refund!
