The air con wasn’t working properly and kept switching off after half an hour meaning I slept very badly, I raised this but unfortunately the issue wasn’t fixed. Other than this great stay

I stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it—5 out of 5! The value for money was fantastic, and the location was super convenient, within walking distance to Prawirotaman. But what really made the experience were the incredible team members: Ali, Saturday, and Gusfi. Huge shoutout to Ali for recommending local sights and helping me book the Borobudur sunrise tour—couldn’t have done it without you!

We had a cockroach in our room but the staff helped us right away with it.

I liked the overall value of the the room. I feel the staff, room, facilities and location allowed me to enjoy my stay there. If you are going there you can find for Saturday or Elza who were helpful with my stay there.

the hostel is not in the center - you can take a taxi, and it's only 3 km..... but not really a nice walk, but I guess this depends on what you are used to. I read other reviews that said that the location was perfect.

the staff is soo nice, if you have a question about the city they are always available......they also helped me to organize the trip to the temples... the hostel is small but it has everything you need for a short stay. I was in the single room with AC and it was very comfortable. Always very clean.

The common area is just the lobby and not very comfy. As I was in a private room I did not get in contact with other travellers and therefore moved to a more social hostel. Also the pool is not super clean and smaller than it appears on the pictures. My room was directly next to the pool and I had to run the AC all night to get rid of the smell

Saturday gave me the best summary of what to do in Jogja. They have little books to overview all the activities and he helped me book a bicycle tour which was great. Enjoyed some privacy in a private room which was pretty expensive. Having the pool to cool down was nice.

I came here directly from the station under the drizzle morning with my friend around 7 am. We were greeted warmly by the front officer Sis Nira. Eventhough the check in time was still several hours ahead, we were welcomed to use the lobby guest facilities such as the shared kitchen, water dispenser, the fridge to put some food, shared bathroom, pool and the muslim praying room (mushalla). When we finally got into our room (family room), I was surprised that they accomodated us with free water bottles, toiletries and towels. It's really affordable, comfortable and clean alhamdulillah. Thanks a lot. Definitely would like to stay here again if we visit Jogjakarta again.

The iron stairs to my room were steep. Especially going up and down there with suitcases is a risky thing to do.

A good location. I was with 7 university students. They loved being there as they could enjoy playing billiard and their favorite pizzateria is within their walking distance.

A hostel for young people, with a little swimming pool as well as billiard facility, on which our students were spending lots of time. One separate room for a student who wanted to have his own room suffered from that extremely small size of that. I liked my room, although the stairs were made of steep metals. The staff is very kind.

Nice and clean room and facilities. Nira, Saturday and the rest of the staff are very kind and helpful. Looking for a place to eat, Saturday invited me and some other guests to a restaurant on the first night. They are also happy to help and answer questions about activities (temples…). We had a great time there, I recommend !

The staff of Ostic House are friendly and are always willing to help you, whether it’s with transport or finding activities nearby. The stay is clean and cozy, and the price is good for what they offer.
