If you're planning on doing a lot of things in the main stretch of Uluwatu down toward the beach its best to have a scooter as the distance is a little far on foot.

Everything about this place is special. The team are absolutely delightful, nothing it too much trouble. The room was a slice of old Bali set in the most peaceful surroundings. The resort was fully booked yet I barely saw anyone else the whole 3 days I was there!

We loved the staff, so friendly and helpful. Debby went out of her way to make everything comfortable for us. We were in the area for a wedding. Although we had to transport ourselves numerous times, this was very easy to do with the help of the staff

The bathroom floor was tiled, not stone, and it was slippery, you had to walk carefully since the bathtub is located there and water can make it easy to slip. Additionally, there’s a tree right above the bathtub, so we often found the tub dirty and had to clean it before using it. Also, the bathtub is so large that you couldn’t rest your head on the edges because you’d slip inside and sink. That would be the downside of this suite.

Onaya never disappoints, this is my second time staying at this accommodation, and it’s truly beautiful. This time I stayed in the suite, but I have to say that the bathrooms in the non-suite villas seem nicer to me, with materials that better match the environment and surroundings of all the villas. Still, the suite serves its purpose well, being spacious and roomy. On the other hand, the staff are, as always, very friendly and absolutely top-notch!

Rooms are a little small. Once both our suitcases were open there was not much space left. Breakfast was delicious but you can only order one food option and one coffee.

Onaya Bali resort is situated in a great location: close enough to the main attractions of Uluwatu but further out in nature. The pool and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Staff were great: friendly, helpful and attentive. I really liked the Whatsapp communication. They respond so quickly to queries. I also like the free shuttle which drives your 5km around the hotel. Room was very clean. Bed was comfy.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay at this hotel! The facilities are simply outstanding, and the pool is perfect for relaxing. The team is excellent, always attentive and helpful — a special mention to Debi, who does a wonderful job keeping the hotel spotless. Breakfast is delicious, with fresh, high-quality products. On top of that, the hotel offers fantastic services such as transfers and motorbike rentals, making everything so much more convenient. For females, there was not enough space/shelving to put cosmetics, make up (in general toiletries) in the washrooms. If you’re fuss free and travel light, it shouldn’t be a problem.

It has a very well designed pool - perfect for photoshoots. The landscape architecture was great. The landscape was well-maintained. A very good balance of modern and tradition. It was a nice abode away from the bustling Uluwatu. The staff were all great, kind and very thoughtful. They have curated their own butler service by creating a what’s app chat, in which you could enquire just about anything, arrangement for pick ups and drop offs. A great shout out to the reception and bram - who is Onaya’s local driver used for guest airport transfers. His rates were very affordable. The breakfast was great, tasty and healthy. Done very simply and hits the spot. They do their best to remember your name and try as much as possible to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Very good hospitality.

What a fantastic place! We loved our stay at Onaya, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The hotel is immaculate, we felt very welcome, and we enjoyed the yummy breakfasts every morning. The room was amazing, so cosy, and a wonderful bathroom. Felt very close to nature here, and a lot of work has gone into the garden/pool area. The hotel is located 5-10 minutes outside of the hustle and bustle of the town, and we loved coming back here every night. Felt like coming home to our private resort. It was easy to nip back to the hotel after a day's surfing and then head out to the restaurants in the evening. Very close to all the sights. We hired one of the hotel's motorcycles and visited almost all of the beaches of the west coast of Uluwatu. If you don't want to ride a motorcycle, you can easily get a grab-around or use the hotel's shuttle service. So glad we chose this place for our 4-day stay, only wish we had longer!

Lovely hotel! Located in a quite street but only 5 minutes away from the streets eith shops and restaurants! The staff was very friendly too! We enjoyed the pool alot and spent a day there! They had a wide variety of food on their menu for lunch and breakfast!

There were a couple of moments which require improvements in my opinion: 1) Not enough light in the night in Sky area. When it is dark, it is hard to see the steps (as they are also dark). I almost fell a couple of times and saw some other tourist having trouble with that. It would be great if the paths over there get extra light 2) Showers and bathrooms. Our shower had open roof, which means that all the leaves from the trees above fall in your room making it dirty. 3) The toilet is attached to your chalet and it is basically outside. If you sit on your veranda, you can hear other people doing job 1 and 2 4) Coffee quality at the breakfast requires improvement, in my view it is a simple fix that will make your customers happier 5) The rooms are small, and have very small closets, which means that if you have a lot of luggage, it will be lying around the room due to lack of space 6) As it is located in the middle of jungle, the only way for you to get there is by car or bike, walking there would be difficult

Onaya is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the jungle. Surrounded by lots of greens, provides a quite spot for relaxed vacation. The territory is beautiful, there are always sunbeds available to read a book or just chill. Personnel of the complex was super nice and attentive, I would say it was the highlight of our stay there. You also get a free transportation for 5km radius, so you can get around Uluwatu and surroundings really well. I also liked the breakfast provided by the property.

The only thing I would give feedback on would be to maybe have some entertainment/cultural nights at the resort. As relaxing and peaceful that it is it can be quite boring.

The property was beautiful. Really clean and well looked after. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and the WhatsApp group was great for making any requests. We had the suite with outside bath and shower which was a fabulous touch and felt very Balinese. The added touch of the chauffeur service for local trips was great. Would highly recommend.

It was such a tranquil home away from home, far enough from the traffic and crowds. Afternoons spent beside the pool were a perfect way to unwind; and cool off after exploring the local beaches. The team at Onaya are really gorgeous people; they can't do enough to help, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we checked in, until the wave off at the end. Breakfast options were well considered, delicious, and would suit most guests. The bed and linen were really nice quality, and the pillows the best we encountered during our entire stay in Bali. Really cute room and bathroom set-up; although we found the room too small to spend much time in, and not much wardrobe space to unpack. Nice pool; with enough sun-lounges to go around. The chauffeur service was excellent. It is possible to walk to a handful of restaurants at the opposite end of the street to where the car goes, however walking is generally difficult in the busier areas.
