The staff was very nice and always helpful. They organised scooter rent and helped with general planning. The location is quite central and at a not too busy street - little noise at night. The bed was also comfortable and the AC worked well. The shower and toilet are - at least from a European standpoint - not good. However, that's what you get here. And the water was warm with proper water pressure + they provide toilet paper.

Nothing that really bothered me personally but there are lizards running around in the room and some insects in the bathroom.

owner was really helpful in advising us about the temples in the area, and gave us alternatives. he recommended a market nearby, we had breakfast there and it was fantastic. it felt like he was always there and willing to help. accommodation is simple but nice, large room and small garden in front. all rooms have an outside terrace which we loved.

location a bit out of the way. bathroom could use some improvements

Nice and cosy courtyard with simple yet clean rooms, very helpful caretaker, central position in a quiet neighbourhood. Laundry service down the street!

Great location, liked the garden outside, fairly cheap, helpful staff

The room was definitely not like in the picture, in reality looks so much worse and the level of the cleanliness wasn't the greatest.

Clean room with a private bathroom. The hotel in general is quite nice, with a small patio and little fountain. There is a fresh water dispenser, so you can easily refill your bottle or make yourself a tea or coffee. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, we got all the information and recommendations we needed 🙂

The staff, the atmosphere and the location was excellent. We arrived quite late to check-in and there was no problem with that. It was very easy to reach the staff when we needed something. The room was very simple but it was convenient for our stay.

The bed.. And it would've been better if there's a cabinet or something for the clothes.

The room was basic, but had everything you need and everything worked. Tommy and the rest of the staff were extremely kind, always available, and helped us in every way, not only by offering advice on the city but also by helping us plan the next stages of our trip. The property has a lovely garden where you can relax, with both shared and private areas. Highly recommended.

I had one blanket that didn’t even cover the bed or my body, which made it very hard to sleep. There was no shampoo or soap. Not even soap for washing hands.

Tommy was amazing! He helped us with a lot of questions! His english is really good. Also the location was really close by everything. You get free water & there is a little fridge.

The bed was small for two persons. Also 1 blanket was small. But i asked for a second one and that was okay. The shower & toilet were really really basic. There was a lot of light in the room & a lot of noice. There was no possibilty to buy a little snack.

We really liked the guest house style of this place. It was a chill space, where you just felt immediately comfortable and our rating of 10 is really about the way we were looked after there and what a comfortable space it was to be. The huge star of the show here is Jimmy - the guy who runs the place. He is simply the best!!! He is an absolute mine of info ( especially for food recos ) and everything he recommends is absolutely spot on. There was also a huge amount of support in so many ways, from allowing us to use the fridge, helping us to book bus tickets when the system would accept our Aussie bank cards and even fixing my phone!! Sometimes, you need a hand when you are travelling and Jimmy and his team were amazing. Then there's the location. It's in a quiet street near the Kraton area, but it's the coolest area. So relaxed and friendly, and once you poke around you will come across heaps of local places to get a bite to eat and drink. 25 mins easy walk to Malioboro St and the local market is just at the end of the street. The fruit and indo snacks there are fantastic!! Go with Jimmy's food recommendations and you can't go wrong :)

At this price point, nothing to mention

Tommie and Rudy are kings 👑, they suggested a bunch of things to do, organized a tour and we were able to extend easily. It is a simple room for sure, but good price/quality ratio. The location was a bit away from the hustle and bustle, which we enjoyed.

    Blanket was a bit stuffy.

The location is great, you can walk to most of the sights. Friendly staff, with great recommendations for food

The actual rooms don’t match the pictures displayed on booking.com, they are way more basic

Superb location, walking distance from Kraton, Taman Sari and Jalan Malioboro. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice little courtyard with small pond

It’s very basic, more so than you would think based on the pictures.
