The property is very nice and the host is very welcoming and helpful. We used both the breakfast service and the restaurant, and we were very satisfied. A means of transport is necessary to get around (we used a driver who accompanied us for the two days).

A bit off from the main activities and restaurants. You always have to drive. The place offers breakfast and dinner, however, to have more of a choice you need to drive to the city.

Loved the ventilation in the top of the tent. Also was cool to stay in a circular shaped room, not a cube. We care about no mould and being able to breathe properly, and this was the best we stayed at, our whole trip in Bali, we could finally get a good nights sleep.

We didn’t like the mafia from the island, but that doesn’t depend on the place. What they did was provide us with another option for chofers.

If I had to mention one thing it would be the cockerels making a racket VERY early. However, Francis did warn us and provided ear plugs so it was ok. It wouldn’t stop me from returning. Also, you 100% need a moped if you stay here.

The family yurt was very spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and there is hot water in the shower which was a bonus! Francis who owns the place is so incredibly helpful! We rented mopeds from him and he has brand new helmets which fit my children perfectly. He is also a wonderful chef, so trying his food on the onsite restaurant is an absolute must! Lovely, lovely place that I would 100% recommend.

The only thing that was a little bit annoying were the dogs in the neighborhood. They fight and bark a lot, therefore it can get quite loud in the mornings. Nothing some good earplugs cannot fix though. This is just a daily part of Indonesia‘s acoustics :-)

The yurts are very spacious and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. What was especially noteworthy is the bed - this might’ve been the most comfortable mattress I‘ve slept on during my travels throughout Indonesia. The staff is very friendly and helpful, so is Frances, who‘s by the way an amazing cook. Make sure to eat dinner there! The location is about 10 mins away from the port by scooter, which for me was just amazing, as it wasn’t in the middle of the busy streets. The whole hotel area is very clean and tidy. This yurt must’ve been one of my absolute hotel highlights while traveling through Indonesia. Would definitely recommend!

Penida Yurt is a fabulous place to stay. The yurts have comfortable beds, excellent AC, and hot showers. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive and the grounds are lovely. The best part of staying here is the incredible food prepared by Francis and his staff. We stayed a week and enjoyed seven incredible dinners! Francis is incredibly kind and takes great care in ensuring his guests are well taken care of (and well fed!). Highly recommend this accomodation to fellow travellers, it's superb.

For us mainly the location. You will need to drive or scooter up and down a hill to get to the centre of town. Francis and his wife seemed to be the only x2 people who could speak English fluently. If you need anything when Francis is unavailable please be patient are staff are lovely!

It was very very clean and the staff cleaned the yurts everyday which was a lovely surprise. Hot shower, good water pressure too. Enjoyed the simple breakfast in the mornings. It is a unique stay in the yurts. They had everything you need for your stay and a good amount of space too. Francis will help you book things the day/night before if you need anything ask.

The best stay yet! Great Yurt with enough room and very clean, no insect or anything. Nice shower and nice pool. Great airconditioning. The food in the restaurant was out of this world! The best we had so far! Especially the Tuna tartar. The staff were very friendly and they helped with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who goes to Nusa Penida. They have motorbikes for rent. Great condition!

Was all amazing.

Absolutely loved our stay here with Francis and all the other staff. The room is massive and is very clean and tidy. They went above and beyond for us. The staff cleaned our room every day and even went as far as folding and hanging up our clothes for us. The food there was also very nice :) scooter rental right at the property and Francis is great for giving recommendations and helping to arrange boat transfers and taxi services. It's only about an 8 minute scooter ride from the town and only 30 minutes to all the good sight seeing things penida has to offer. Thanks a bunch Francis and the rest of your team! You guys were great!
