Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaSuch a beautiful resort with a traditional Balinese building. This was the first time we visited with my family and I booked because of its beautiful garden spaces and huge foyer. Staying here was like staying in a beautiful temple space with resort and pools and all the facilities you want. We really appreciated the kids pools with the sand bottoms and were fortunate to participate in a full moon ceremony in their temple. If you have kids that like to run around, ours is 3, I suggest getting a room with garden access which allowed her to run around. Overall we loved the venue, never had poor food or service and friendliness of people was super nice.

United KingdomCould not get drinks delivered to the private lagoon area Did not use main pool but they had a swim up bar
Beautiful setting and lots of restaurants to choose from - all with excellent food. I had a room opening onto an exclusive lagoon - well worth the extra money for perks ( private pool, afternoon tea, cocktails). Loved our stay

AustraliaDon’t accept debit cards for deposit very strange for a big resort, tamarind and room service quite pricey for Bali. Rooms overpriced for what you get. For $500 and a night they had 2 singles pushed together for a double
Beautiful resort. Up on the beach, great food options and stunning gardens

AustraliaThe sunbeds whilst new were a bit short in supply.
We really liked the traditional aesthetic of the resort, the beautiful gardens, the spa facilities which are very hard to find the full range including cold plunge pool anywhere else, the service was brilliant and very child friendly which was great for us travelling with a toddler. We also really appreciated the new and very comfortable sunbeds. The food we had, especially breakfast, was great quality. Special mention of the babysitting service from Mintel - she was a true professional and ensured our daughter was safe and well looked after. Reasonably priced also. Our daughter gave zero protests being sent off with her each day.

AustraliaThe pool beds were always occupied. It was hard to find any empty ones any time of the day. But it's only a minor criticism compared to all other facilities. The other facility I look forward to is the gym however there was a better one available outside on the beach from The Westin Resort which I ended up going to most of the time.
Highly recommend including the buffet breakfast in the booking as it was great. Access to the beach was very convenient. I I was quite impressed by the permaculture garden they had setup towards the back of the facility. The beach at the property was awesome too. Gentle waves, white sand, clean and sufficient beach beds.

FranceThe furniture in the room was dated but functional and we didn’t spend much time in the room. However, the lighting was too dim! Also, hotel should do something about guests booking the deck chairs with towels before breakfast!!!
Everything! The pool and proximity to the beach. The restaurants. The friendly staffs. The spa and sports centre. The comfortable bed!

New ZealandNusa Dua is apart from other areas in Bali in that it is predominately gated style resorts and as such food and drinks in this area as a whole are more expensive which is the same here. Overall I don’t think the food offerings compared to other parts of Bali are that great and it is hard to find restaurants etc that are apart from resorts. This may be your vibe or not.
This is a beautiful Balinese styled Nusa Dua beachfront hotel - amazing attentive staff and great pools and beachfront access. The room was large and the beds very comfortable with a lovely balcony and garden view. Perfect if you are seeking an easy few days by the pool resort style.

AustraliaI was sad to move out of the hotel and on to the next part of our journey - so I didn't like leaving :-)
I stayed at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa during my previous visit to Bali (18 years ago) and the hotel had such a good impression on me I chose to stay at the hotel again for my second visit. I was not disappointed the hotel is still lovely. It is located on a nice clean stretch of beach (Nusa Dua is known for having a nice beach) The resort is large enough to have all the facilities you desire (spa, tennis courts, squash courts, pools, dining options etc) without being too large or noisy. I like the traditional look/feel of the hotel -The resort utilses the outdoors well and doesn't feel like a concrete jungle. I like the entrance where you check-in and how at breakfast time you can sit outside/alfesco to eat (rather than being restricted to inside dining only). The staff are so friendly and are beautiful people. I will stay at this hotel again when next in Bali (which will be much sooner than 18 years).

An Unforgettable Stay Beyond All Expectations! From the moment we made our reservation, the team at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa impressed us with their incredible responsiveness and genuine care. This was not just any trip – it was our very first family vacation, where we celebrated both our wedding anniversary and our baby daughter’s first birthday. We had dreamed of visiting Bali since 2014, and this stay turned out to be even more magical than we could have ever imagined. The hotel team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We were surprised with a special upgrade and thoughtful gestures that truly touched our hearts. Every single staff member was warm, kind, and flexible, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Having previously worked in luxury hotels such as Marriott and Sheraton in Paris, I can confidently say that the service at this hotel is in a league of its own – the staff here deliver at least twice the level of care and dedication I have ever witnessed. For families, this hotel is an absolute paradise! The kids club, playground, babysitting service, pools, and restaurants are perfectly designed to make children feel special and entertained all day long, while parents can relax and enjoy every moment. Our stay at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa was perfect in every way – heartfelt, authentic, and filled with small touches that made us feel like the most special guests in the world. We could not be happier with our choice, and we are already certain that we will be coming back. To anyone considering a stay in Bali – look no further! We will be recommending this resort 100% to all our friends and family. Thank you, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, for giving us memories we will cherish forever!

AustraliaHow the guests get up early and put towels on the sunbeds then disappear never to be seen until much later in the day, we were unable to use the main pool area out whole 8 night stay due to no available sunbeds after 9am, most just had towels and a book on them and no people, very frustrating 😑
Beautiful resort, we stayed in a Lagoon access room in the Palace Club which was fabulous, room wall decor near the TV was a bit worn and could do with being upgraded.

AustraliaI loved everything about the property. We are return guests. I would kindly suggest , more variable breakfast options. Although the breakfast selection was vast - and great quality , if you are a return guest , the menu and options haven’t changed ( hot food selections) since our previous stays.
The resort is beautiful and very traditional Balinese in design. Gardens are amazingly well kept and maintained. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
