Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe rooms seem little dated could use some updates, some furniture are worn out and chairs, sofas, etc, not too comfortable. The old AC units in the rooms are very loud trying to keep the temperature at the comfortable level and not always successful.
Wonderful pool and gorgeous grounds, and very friendly staff. The hotel is little older but has its charm.

AustraliaNot quite enough gluten-free options sadly. Disappointed, as was less than when we stayed the 2 years ago. Shower button to change between shower heads didn't work well but that wasn't really a big issue.
Staff were amazingly hospitable, friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough for us and always said hello when passing. The CLUB was great with a delicious breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails daily, for Club guests. The gym had been updated since our previous stay 2 years ago, and the pool had new sun loungers and hammocks by the ocean too. Stunning gardens, so tranquil and beautiful, always being tended to by staff. Loved the tennis centre and spa treatments, including the staff!

AustraliaOur three-night stay at this enchanting retreat was nothing short of magical. Bali's vibrant spirit was alive in every corner, offering a plethora of activities to indulge in or simply spaces to unwind in serene tranquility. The resort boasts four exquisite dining venues, with the Mediterranean and Balinese restaurants capturing our palates and hearts with their delectable cuisine. The picturesque settings were a photographer's paradise, particularly the pristine beachfront, which provided the perfect backdrop for our memories. Finding solace under the whispering trees, lounging by the beach chairs, and basking in the sun was a rejuvenating experience. The pool area was an oasis of fun and relaxation, complementing our days perfectly. And mornings were greeted with an impressive breakfast buffet that was a delightful start to our adventures. This place truly embodies the essence of a Balinese getaway.

United KingdomLocation not that good. Relatively limited selection of food outlets with some closed on different days. Lovely room, tiny bathroom that seriously needed to be updated.

Australia-The property is old and run down compared to the other five starts hotel around in Nusa Dua. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to have put enough effort and money to maintain and renovate the facilities. There were broken tiles and sharp edges in the pool area. -Not enough pool/beach chairs in the pools and beach areas -Not enough lighting in the room. -They don't server pork meat in this facility.
Staff were friendly and helpful breakfast was very nice

SingaporeNone, for their price I think everything is good.
they give us free 1 shots of professional photoshoots from Dream studio, which was quite a nice surprise. Big room, although old but well maintained and can still see the remnant grandeur of this hotel as the first resort built in Nusa Dua area.

Great breakfast. The hotel arranged Birthday flowers & cake for my husband & also Mothers chocolates, which was a lovely touch. Lovely pool area & right on the beach. Great play area as well for kids. The hotel also has separate lap pool, sauna & ice bath for adults wanting some quiet time.

AustraliaMy room furniture was getting a bit old and the sliding doors were hard to move and noisy in the middle of the night when using the bathroom. The sheets didn’t smell very fresh the first night. I asked for them to be replaced next morning and they were.
The pools and gardens were beautiful and the breakfasts excellent As it was my birthday I was delighted when I was surprised with a cake and red roses. I hadn’t mentioned it !

If you’re looking to chill the fudge out at the perfect location, Nusa is right next to the most beautiful beach where you can either swim or walk along the beach with the cold chill brushing past your cheeks (face) and if you’re bald I’ll say no more. Your eggy head will be cooled right down with the nice, cool low wind air once you’ve went for a dip. The staff from start to finish couldn’t more helpful, very respectful, place was spotless, food was amazing and never had to eat else where. They have different nights with shows while you’re being served high quality food along with excellent service. Good for family, couples and solos to charge up the batteries.

CroatiaThe hotel is really one of the best hotels we have ever been. From the first contact to the last, the staff was always smiling, helpful and ready to help in all ways possible. We booked the Palace Club room, which we highly recommend you do, too. The private group breakfast with your own chef, the tea, coffee and canapes int he afternoon. Everything was really delicious and helps you stay full almost the whole day. We would like to commend the whole Palace Club staff, especially Natalie and Yuni. But all of them was really over the top.
