Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandNice rooms and super comfy beds. Came with a kettle mini fridge ang glassware in the room. And plates cutlery microwave and free water cooler available downstairs. No staff on reception it’s a self check in over WhatsApp which worked fine. The cleaner Gusti was lovely and did a great job. The wifi was a bit patchy in the room but can’t complain

ItalyStairs a little narrow, not easy to be found because of the little sign board which has no eye catching colors.
Staff is very friendly, despite the hotel being a self check in, your stay will be very comfortable, just outside Ubud centre. Very close you have a restaurant for breakfast, dinner ... You can easily get into the crowd by Gojek for a few IDR

IndonesiaI didn't like pool , it looks not clean enough and entrance of the property doesn't have light which was pretty frightening for us because of the stray dogs .
I like the atmosphere and it was pretty clean and the staff were friendly, helpful. The lobby was very cozy and unlimited coffee, tea. Inside the room, they have a microwave and fridge, which was great

GreeceThe staff here are really lovely. For the price we couldn’t fault the place. We did not need to be in central Ubud so it worked for us. It’s down a short side alley which helped a little with the noise, as it is off of a very busy road. Everything clean if a little worn. Fridge and kettle in the room as well as free Nescafé, tea and water in the lobby. Air conditioning worked fine. Shower was spacious. Water pressure was adequate. Room size was comparable to any budget hotel. Coded keyless entry doors. Staff are only there until 16:00. But instructions are available by scanning a qr code. Instructions were also emailed ahead of time. And any of our questions were answered quickly using booking.com messaging if we needed anything out of hours. WiFi isn’t the best but works just fine. The qr code didn’t work for us on our floor but they quickly emailed us the password. In the mean time there was wifi in the lobby with the password posted. Near plenty of shops and restaurants. Grab and Gojek has no problem finding the place for deliveries or for taxis. The swimming pool is small but you can tell that by the photos. Lovely view from the balcony. Everything was just as advertised. We would stay again.

AustraliaCleanliness could have been a bit better in the bathroom but overall not too bad.
For what you get with the price it definitely is a good option to stay here for those seeking over a couple of nights stay. The host is exceptionally welcoming and friendly as we arrived since day 1, couldn’t have asked for a better service when needed.

AustraliaNo complaints. I was very pleased with everything.
Excellent value for money. The hotel was in an excellent location within walking distance to town. Despite its close proximity to the road, it was relatively quiet during the day and very peaceful at night. I couldn’t hear any traffic at night, unlike the previous place I stayed at in Ubud that was further from town. My room was comfortable and kept very clean. The bathroom was also very spacious. Gusti was extremely helpful and the other staff very responsive when I needed assistance and contacted them via WhatsApp.

IrelandClean and comfortable room. Only drawback is there in no natural light in the room. There is a communal area with free hot and cold water, tea & coffee. Gusti, the caretaker is always around and very kind and helpful.

I liked the last minute deal I had secured at the time. The shower had good pressure and good temperature for water.

BrazilThe only downside was that since I was working remotely, the lighting in the room was a bit too dark for video meetings.
I found the place very comfortable and quiet, which was perfect for relaxing. There were several nice restaurants, cafes, markets, and stores all within walking distance, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area.

FinlandSorry, but having a microwave is not a kitchen or a place to cook food. The presence of other people's hair in the bed was upsetting. The room is dirty. The grey walls and yellow light do their job - you can hardly see the dirt.

United KingdomMy room had a Mountain View and a view of fields/ palm trees. Really spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Key code for the door no key. The host was such a great guy and couldn’t do enough for me. Rented a motorbike there too and had a swimming pool out the back, which was nice and quiet to relax. I’ve moved somewhere else today and already missing it!

United KingdomCould not fault a single thing, one of the best places I have ever stayed in Bali.
A beautiful property with the most lovely and welcoming staff. Gorgeous pool and spotlessly clean and comfortable room, with excellent air conditioning and facilities. We even got brought a bike to rent at the apartment and it was no trouble at all! Would highly recommend.

United Arab EmiratesTotally disappointed. Wanted to get some place to relax but couldn’t do that cuz there’s constant issues with the WiFi, shower is broken and AC doesn’t cool enough (more like a cold fan) no front desk, no people on the side, hotel locked inside the alley, no signs no nothing, nobody (grab/delivery) cant find it either, they have some type of weird only service that luggy and you have to sing up before you even able to do anything with it. Super annoying and over priced, pool is small and more look like a pot hole filled up with water, and no beautiful views like showed on the website. Just look elsewhere and spend an extra few bucks than ruin your vacation for you and your close ones.
Absolutely nothing.
