The value for money wasn’t great, the room was poorly maintained. We spoke to Rocky, who took care of it and arranged for us to change rooms. Thanks again, Rocky!

We loved the staff, especially Rocky, who took great care of us. He is a thoughtful and professional person.

A few more storage options within the room would be nice, though as stated above, the hotel is undergoing renovations and I don't think this is an issue in the re-modelled rooms. Although I strongly believe the calls to prayer and associated aspects of the mosques are a part of local culture which should be embraced and add to the character of Muslim neighbourhoods, the level of amplification and duration of the chants of the nearby mosque did rather push the envelope. Perhaps atypical, our stay coincided with celebration of the end of Ramadan.

Rocky and his staff did everything you could ask and then some to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. We had a large room with comfortable bed, although our garden view double was one of the last remaining rooms awaiting updating and was accordingly more sparsely equipped than the newer rooms. The hotel has a great large swimming pool, ideal if you want to swim laps as well as just cooling off. The breakfasts included in the room tariff were adequate , as were other meals , though there are also several alternative dining options within easy walk of the hotel. The hotel is also conveniently located for walking or motor cycle touring of the beautiful rice fields and waterfalls of the Setebatu district.

In the room, 3 out of 4 sockets were not usable, the bathroom is really not great. A power cut lasting a good hour (with no backup solution) prevented us from enjoying the evening.

    Good location, calm

Great hotel, amazing staff, amazing food and service. We stayed in two different rooms, the roof top villa was awesome. Had scooter rental aswell. Beautiful location in the Tetebatu region. Would highly recommend this stay for anyone planning on coming this way. Receptionist Rocky was a legend, very helpful and accommodating.

When the hot water wasn’t working Rocky had it fixed quickly.

The manager, Rocky, is a super friendly guy who does everything he can to help his guests. The room was large and comfortable and the swimming pool is excellent with views over the rice fields. The food in the restaurant is delicious. We hired a scooter and enjoyed visiting the waterfalls, Monkey Forest and Hand Weaver.

However, as a solo traveler this is not the place to go. It was very boring. Only families and couples. They offer scooters but they are old and not in a very good condition and they cost 100k per day, normally I pay 75k per day for a good scooter. There are barely no restaurants around. You really need a scooter to get around or a driver.

It looks very nice and very friendly staff! Very nice surroundings with rice fields and waterfalls near by

The staff could do more training in service. Their English is very limited and they always joked around behind the counter. My wife ordered a pancake but received a pancake with banana inside instead. The staff could've mentioned that they were bananas in the pancake. Their coffee was also not good even though at the reception they were selling local made coffee (which was suppose to be good). We asked for a laundry service and was told that they didn't have any dryer and it would take 3 days for one cycle of laundry to dry.

The pool is relatively huge for Tetebatu. The surrounding hilly paddy fields were breathtaking. I like how they have scooters ready to be rented at the hotel.

Lovely, very relaxing place with super friendly and helpful staff. Rocky went out of his way to help, offer advice and sort out transport, ensuring a pre price was made. Room was clean, well equipped and had really good AC. Was only a one night stop off, but would have stayed longer.

I had an amazing 3-night stay at Nirvana Hotel! The location is perfect, making it easy to join tours to waterfalls, rice fields, pottery, weaving, and bamboo crafts. From the moment I arrived, Rocky, Ocu, and the rest of the staff welcomed me like family. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the warm atmosphere made me feel right at home. I truly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay – you won’t regret it!

A beautiful place to stay and relax, my room a was big, clean and a comfortable bed with a hot shower and good water pressure. The facilities are well maintained and the pool is gorgeous. Every single meal from the restaurant was delicious and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The manager Rocky is an absolute legend that went above and beyond to not only help arrange tours, transportation and laundry service but he was so much fun to chat with and really made me feel at home. I felt so safe and well taken care of and I would return in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for everything :)

Unfortunately the photos are no longer matching the current status of the hotel. We have first got a room on the roof (build later on, not on the main picture), however the walls were so thin that you could hear the nearby mosque loud and clear (5 times a day). Therefore we asked for change of the room, and received room on the 1st floor, which was more silent, but very out-dated. The bathroom was looking dirty, and the faucet was drippig. Same goes for the hotel restaurant, that would need a reconstruction. If you decide to stay, I reccomend to geab dinner elsewhere in the neighbourhood, as you get better worth for your money.

We enjoyed our stay thanks to Rocky, who helped us with any request immediately and with smile on his face. The pool was allright, and breakfast was tasty.

    Family Room of Horrors
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Family Suite
    • Stayed 3 nights

We had the family suite, the most expensive room in the hotel. The bathroom is a disaster — on the second-to-last night, cockroaches appeared. We decided to leave. The shower leaks and gets clogged. The lack of maintenance makes you feel misled by the photos. The current state of the room has nothing to do with the photos. Maintenance is very poor. The room is not well insulated — you can hear everything from outside. One of the windows is even broken. Personally, I need Wi-Fi to work, and the room had no signal. They tried to fix it with a repeater, but the bandwidth was so low it was impossible to use. Rocky tries to solve the problems, but when he can’t, he just blames the owner and says there's nothing more he can do. Breakfast is low quality. For example, the juices weren’t fresh. I want to finish by pointing out that the night cost us €100. For that price, we had much better accommodation in Lombok. Most importantly: do not book the family suite room.
