There was only cold water and it smelt a bit. We were right next to the breakfast area and were woken up by other guests.

Irwan who worked there was amazing and went the extra mile to ensure all the guests had a great stay. He couldn’t have been more helpful! The location was great and was only a couple of minutes from the beach and lots of bars and restaurants and bars

We spoke with Waris about the plumbing (they have been trying to come up with a solution). Our first room the deluxe had a very strong smell so we asked to be moved and the smaller double room was less offensive.

Super close access to the beach. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Bottle refill station. Bathroom was a wet room with outdoors coming in. The laundry service was quick and they have beach toys for kids. The deluxe room has a kettle however the smaller double room didn't but the staff boiled water for me when asked.

Due to the traditional style bungalow with bamboo roof, you really hear everything outside. Since the bungalows are quite close to each other we were able to hear our neighbors quite well. On one night the person next to us was calling very loud till after midnight, this was only on one occasion. Due to the layout of the bungalow, it was quite dark all day around, its something we noticed but if you're out and about during the day its not something that really bothers you.

1. We stayed at a wooden bungalow and there was no sound isolation. You could hear the neighbours very well. 2. The place needs some renovation. The water coming from the tab was smelling and the bathroom was also smelly.

The two caretakers were extremely friendly and organised everything so we have a perfect stay. The location is in a very quiet area which we loved and very close to the beach. Rooms were cleaned daily, Breakfast was small but good and there was free water.

really not easy to find as no sign. the walls are sooo thin you can hear everything from the rooms on both sides and the house or hotel that’s behind. thé breakfast area doesn’t have chairs and tables just the bean bags. only cold water and it’s salty… don’t know if this is the same on the whole island ( I don’t remember that s being stated anywhere) vanity desk/ mirror in the bedroom for children night not for adults

thé staff are fantastique, thé location is great just a few steps to the beach for sunrise then back for breakfast as it’s only available from 8. I believe you can use the pool of the hotel you walk through to get to the beach

We especially liked the staff at Nelly homestay. They were always around and very helpful which made us feel very safe. They made good breakfast and the cleaning of facilities was awesome. They also helped us with arranging a snorkelling trip 💓💓👌

A massive thanks to the staff members Irwan and Waris! They have been at all times extremely professional, skilled, hard working, kind and ready to help us guests with everything we needed. I ve found my bungalow tidy and clean on a daily base, as per the common areas and pathways, not a single issue at all. The environment is really welcoming and quiet, the ideal spot to recharge batteries and peacefully enjoy the unique atmosphere of the island. The brand new chill out area has been definitely the cherry on the cake! Can't wait to be back!!!🙏

The water in our shower was salty. We could wash but we couldn’t brush our teeth as it was very salty and smelly.

The water of the shower was sometimes a bit salty, but this is generally the case on Gili Air due to the limited water supply.

It is a cozy small homestay only 2 minutes away from the beach where we saw a lot of turtles! The rooms are well furnitured and very clean. The two guys running the place are incredibly friendly and helped us with renting bikes. Breakfast is also amazing, you have the choice between great bananapancakes or an omlette with a big cup coffee or tea, which you can enjoy from on the porch.

Easygoing, nice, well-maintained, and clean place. It's a short walk to the beach area. Bicycles on rent are available at very reasonable prices. The staff (Ivan and his friend) is very friendly and helpful, they really do go out of their way to help out in case you need anything. They clean rooms every day and overall it's a pretty cosy place. Felt very comfortable and at home here. They whip up a simple, but satisfying breakfast each morning. I very much liked staying here and would highly recommend it. Be aware that it is a long walk from the port area (it's almost diametrically opposite to the port), but then that walk has only to be done twice during a stay, and horse carts are available in any case, so should not be a problem.
