The room while comfortable is very basic. There is no mosquito net and the bed linen is clean but very old with some stains. We were there five days and the room was not serviced. I would be prepared to pay a little more with a mosquito net and new linen.

Nara cottages are set in a beautiful garden and can use an exceptional pool close by. The staff are very friendly. The air conditioning works well and the shower is good. It is in a very good location off the main road in Nyuh Kuning. It is very good value for money.

In a really pretty setting. There is a path next to the monkey forest for a quick cut through into the Main Street. The staff were super friendly. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot with good pressure.

The hotel/room is old & very basic but that’s what you’re paying for. Small 2 door windows in the room & hence it’s always dark when you’re inside but there’s nice spacious balcony/patio outside each room. Old bed/mattress so not too comfortable.

Clean big room/hotel. Nice pool too. Friendly & helpful staffs. Location is perfect not on main road but still close to so many eateries, bars, minimarts etc.

The room is comfortable, mas a little bit dark, particularly the toilet. The outside area is so beautiful, they could invest a little more to upgrade the rooms and improve the stay.

The pool is amazing and also the outside area it's beautiful. It looks like it's far from the centre, but there is a short cut through the Monkey Forest, which makes it shorter. You can go by walking or by motorbike. The staff was really nice and helpful! It's a perfect place to rest, very quiet! There a lot of good restaurants nearby.

It's located at the other side of the Monkey Forest. Therefore everytime you go downtown. You will need to drive around the Monkey Forrest what is a 10-15 min drive to get there.

The pool and gardens were wonderful! So beautiful, clean and lovely for swimming. Nice area for relaxing. The room is very traditional, which I liked though it means it is a bit dark inside, but very cool with a good A/C. Nice bathroom. Altogether, nice areas outside for sitting.

The location is not suitable to walk around cause it's close the monkey sanctuary and a little bit scary when you want to walk to the busy areas. The room and bathroom needs to be renovated. Doors are very noisy. The bed is not comfortable.

I guess a lot of people choose to book at Nora Cottage for its quietness. It would therefore be nice to remind everyone who checks-in to be mindful of other guests, and try not to wake them-up in the middle of the night or keep them awake all night, especially as the rooms are not soundproofed. This happened over the weekend - the lack of respect of some people will always surprise me! The cushions of the outside sitting do need a deep cleaning.

After two months in Bali, I was so happy to find a quiet place: no construction noise, no barking dogs at night, no roosters! When other guests were quiet, which was not always the case unfortunately, it was truly enjoyable! The room is simple, but clean, and the bed is comfortable. It is located in a very nice and well taken care of garden, with a fountain and fish pond, which was relaxing. The neighborhood is also quite nice, I liked it a lot. There are many excellent cafes and warungs, with good prices. Nora Cottage shares a beautiful swimming-pool and spa (awesome massages, worth the price difference with other spas nearby) with the hotel next door. Everyone was very friendly, reactive and eager to help. 🙏🏻 Wi-Fi worked well for me, both in the room or in the pool area. I wish I had found Nara Cottage earlier and could have stayed longer than a week.

Bathroom had a bad smell. Close to the monkey forest so be prepared that they visit the garden. No fridge in the room.

Nice garden and swimming pool. A quit place to relax from the busy Ubud streets. Children could feed the fish in the pond. Additional breakfast could be ordered to be served on the terrace.

They close the swimming pool at 18h already, so you can't use it once you're back from town or day trips 😔 A real waste.

The location is perfect! 20min walking to the chaotic centre, yet so quiet and calm. Hot shower always a bonus 😊 Great swimming pool. Good breakfast. Wifi works well.

The bed cover could have been nicer. It was thin and small for 2 people to share. AC unit couldnt be adjusted so was only one level that was pretty strong and loud.

The location was ideal for a quieter stay with only a short walk into Ubud central via the monkey forest shortcut. Lots of nice places to eat nearby too so you won't go hungry. Staff were pleasant and helpful where they could be and the swimming pool was perfect in either rain or sunshine. Room is basic but comfortable. AC working but does blow straight onto the bed.

Hard to find the location as it's quite far down an alleyway. The hot water didn't work sometimes and the bathroom didn't feel clean and had water or mould damage on the roof. The lighting in the room was very dim.

the bed is easy to make noise if the people is heavy and have moves. several spots were found on the bed sheets, which could not be cleaned, since it was rainy day, no alternative , but they changed next day.

we stayed two nights here.the swimming poor wad very cool, we enjoyed a lot there, and the staff was quite friendly,. offered us hot water for making tea. garden view was nice too sometimes the monkeys come. the location is good too, very close to the monkey forest.
