I was traveling alone and at night you don’t have any staff at the bungalows. They are available for WhatsApp only. There was a blackout in the island in my last day and when I left there wasn’t any electricity yet.

The staff is very friendly, the location is great and the cleanliness is immaculate, I stayed 3 nights and in the second day they changed everything, the sheets and the towels. I booked without breakfast but you have so many options in the island that it is not an issue. The owner was very friendly, he allowed to stay until 1 pm in my last day, it was very kind.

Staying at Nanas Homestay was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mike and Ida, who are the most lovely hosts you could ask for. Their kindness and hospitality truly made our stay special. The property itself is simply stunning. The garden is beautiful and well-maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is also perfect, just a short walk from the beach and local restaurants, but still very quiet. The place is so nice that we really enjoyed spending time laying in the hammock and sitting on the sofa in our green corner with no rush at all. You can easily enjoy both sunrises and sunsets as the homestay is situated in the center of the island. We extended our stay up to 7 days because 3 days were really not enough. I highly recommend Nanas Homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway on Gili Air. It's a true oasis of tranquility, and I can't wait to return. The only unpleasant thing was our neighbors. Though you are separated from them by a little garden you can still hear them. But no one can predict who you will share the space with so this is definitely not the thing the hosts are responsible for

very cute place near the beach, the owner Michael and the staff there are very friendly and helpful with incredible recommendations. Breakfast was so yummy! The location was very convenient too, near the Sunrise beach with snorkeling points and many dive shops. We enjoyed our stay there, and would definitely recommend it!

Had a very comfortable stay. The hut came with a king sized bed, a desk, bathroom and an outside hammock space, which I ended up spending most of my afternoons. Very well maintained and nicely cleaned

Nothing really. We were bitten by some insects but didn’t think they were mosquitoes. It was very hot and humid was hen were there there. We loved the lanai/patio but it was hot even at night. A ceiling fan would have been great to provide warmth some air circulation

Good location-walkable from ferry terminal, close to beach and good restaurants on either side of Nanas. More a short walk away. Ground lovely with lots of greenery and flowers. Breakfast was delicious especially the fruit & granola bowl and omelette. Staff (Reza and Ida)were excellent-friendly and helpful. We especially love how they the bed. Sheets and towels were changed every other day which was fine. Each villa was very private shielded by greenery.

The accommodation is in a quiet area. The greenery that surrounds you calms you down. The beach is very close. You can borrow bikes from the neighbors. Traditional food is also very good.

Location is the very center of the island. I could walk to this place from the harbor, and beach area is also very close to the house. Room is clean and nice, and it has very nice garden too. Right next to the stay, there's a nice restaurant too!

The Mesquite location is very close to the place and u can hear the prayers very loud 5 times per day

Everything is just great, such a lovely place in the heart of Gili Air. The cottages are very clean and cozy and the bed comfy. The highlight is definitely the private terrace with lounge and hammock. The breakfast is served on your terrace, every morning you can choose from several options, one for each and an additional one to share (we had the breakfast included in our booking). The staff is very friendly and helpful with a lot of information and recommendations for Gili Air. Bicycles (the most comfortable way of moving on Gili Air) can be rent next door very fast and easy.

Just be aware that the mosque is loud starting around 4am. You would hear it though everywhere on the island.

Beautiful place, highly recommend. Good AC, cozy outdoor chill area and good location on the island. Lovely staff too. Will come back.

Not a criticism just a recommendation… I stayed in the fan room and it has lovely cross ventilation with the glass doors open, so I kept them open overnight. I was a solo female traveler and slept every night with the whole studio wide open and unlocked, with no safety issues. I would 100% book the same room again, as is! That said, mainly for absolute peace of mind, lockable screens or shutters over the glass doors in the fan room would be a welcome addition :)

Peaceful, private and quiet garden oasis. 1min cycle to fantastic snorkeling/diving. Stylish design and aesthetic. Large covered deck with hammock and lounge. Daily bed making service. Great WiFi. Beautiful Ida (manager). Mae the cat!

A bit on the expensive side and the toilet had an issue at the time we were there, but the stuff dealt with it immediately and resolved it. So nothing to say here really.

Very nice stay, with great vibe and beautiful spaces. The people were most helpful and kind. The breakfast was the best we had in indonesia (not included in price) and very easy to rent a bike just across the street. Also the location was great (10 minutes from harbor by foot) and bonus the porch with hammok surrounded by greenery and flowers everywhere. Would definetly recommend!!
