Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThere was no closet, wardrobe, table or even a wall hook in the room, so there was no place or room to put any clothes, stuff, or even towels. So we had to keep everything in our bags. I would recommend to add some hooks and a closet.
We had a great stay at MyHome. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. They literally welcomed us home. Sukry came to pick us up when the Grab-driver dropped us in the middle of nowhere. Ris took us on a great tour through the ricefields. And their aunt is the greatest cook. We loved her Sasak food! Our room was very clean, we had our own balcony, and we had the best view over the ricefields. Please notice that Grab and Gojek dont really drive to Tetebatu. We thought we had a Grab-ride but after one hour he stopped and didnt wanted to go any further. So our advice: accept the transport MyHome is offering, and let them come pick you up! :)

All the staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for me and my family. Riz, Illa, Onnie and Sukry are great hosts! Their motto is ‘come as a guest and leave as family’, this was definitely the case. The locals are lovely too! The food is amazing! Aunty Atty rocks! The property is fairly new which meant the amenities were excellent. Highly recommended, just book it.

We had such a lovely time staying with Sukri and his family in Tetebatu. Their home is in the middle of the rice fields, and our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The whole family made us feel incredibly welcome. It honestly felt like being part of their home, even if just for a few days. Anna’s cooking was amazing! We also did a tour with them, which we really recommend if you want to get to know the area and local life a bit better. It was a nice experience and a really nice place to stay. Truly recommended!

We were warmly welcomed by Sukry and his family. The room is spacious, clean, very beautiful and original design of the shower. The terrace is lovely, peaceful, the discussions with Sukry were very enlightening and funny and the location of the homestay is perfect to discover the rice fields and its surroundings. Sukry provides transportation from and to different locations in Lombok, and different kinds of tours (in Tetebatu, secret Gilis , ...). I strongly and blindly recommend MyHome

CanadaThis is a beautiful property with a room that has a comfortable bed, AC, and large bathroom. The highlight is the beautiful private terrace overlooking rice fields. I did yoga and spent a lot of time on the hammock here during our stay. The best part of this homestay is the host family. Sukry, his sisters and mother go above and beyond in ensuring you are having a great time. The dinners here were amazing, some of the best food we had in Indonesia and the breakfast is delicious and filling. It was home cooked food packed with flavor. We did a rice fields, monkey forest and waterfall tour with Sukry which was really fun - it was great to learn about all the different kinds of local produce grown here and explore the nature around. Sukry also organized our transportation to Tetebatu from Bangsal Pier and from Tetebatu to Kuta Lombok at very reasonable prices. This is not just a homestay but a unique way to experience authentic Lombok culture through the generosity, warmth and openness of Sukry and his family. Sukry is very involved with helping the community and even donates part of the proceeds from the homestay and tours to the local orphanage. Highly recommend!

PolandSukri and Ana were a great hosts. Sukri is also a great tour guide, really can recommend him and his family for stay. You will feel really like in home and only with local peoples. Ana and her sister makes very delicious dinners and banana pancakes for breakfast (they have good amount of menu options to choose for dinners (in good prices), even for vegetarians, so you don’t need to worry about food when you stay with this family). The attic which hammocks are great place for relax/chill/dinner with rice field view and you can see Rinjani mountain if the weather is good enough. Bed was very comfortable, shower and toilet was okay.

Dear Sukry and Anna, Thank you so much for having us in your lovely home. We highly recommend anyone to stay at MyHome. We have felt very welcome and really enjoyed the amazing susuk food, especially the olah olah and spring rolls. The room is very clean, and the area upstairs is a place where you can feel very relaxed. We spent one evening playing games, playing guitar, and learned a lot from talking to both of you. You are very kind and lovely people. Sukry also guided us with the village tours, and the rice field tours including the black forrest monkeys. For us the rice field tour is a must if you have the time. This has been a highlight of our trip, and will stay in our memories for a long time. Thank you!
