From the moment I arrived Putu and her staff were welcoming, gracious and attentive with whatever I needed while also allowing lots of privacy. The beautiful gardens on-site, as well as my room, were amazingly quiet given the short walk out to the bustling streets of Ubud with lots of restaurants , shopping and great massages just down the street at Relax Spa. Also close to the Yoga Barn and Monkey Forest. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Lovely family running this place. Neat as a pin garden. I’m amazed how quiet it can be and yet right in the middle of everything that’s great about Ubud. Beautiful places to eat just outside of the entrance to the property. Short walk to the Monkey Forest. What more could you want!

The hot water supply was intermittent. Had to negotiate steps and alleyways to locate the property.

It was simple with ample space. The bed was comfortable and wi-fi connection was great.

I loved my stay here so much, I wanted to extend for Nyepi but it was booked up (because this place is the best!). Cutest family running it, I mainly interacted with the mother and son (I think) and they were lovely. Such great value. Room was big, breakfast was great especially the Japple and served by a lovely young man, who I think may have been the son of the family.

Breakfast could be more varied. We have two rooms and in one it smelled quite strongly of mold if you kept the windows/doors closed. In the other room, there was a strong smell of mold in the bathroom (there is no window). The sinks in both rooms should be changed because they are brown..not white as they were originally.

Perfect location in a quite alley away from the busy street but still close to everything. The owner and the staff were very nice and helpful. There was a problem with the toilet but it was quickly fixed. Breakfast was great with many options and lots of fruit. Drinking water is also provided. Overall, this place is amazing value for money!

My stay at Murdhasari was amazing. The family that runs the place are incredibly sweet and helpful. The breakfast included was so good and you had lots of options to choose from. The room was super clean and the bed really comfy, and AC worked a treat. And the location is great too, close to everything but in a quite backstreet so you don't get disturbed by all the street noise. Will definitely come back next time in Ubud and would recommend to everyone!
