It was a bit hard to find for our driver, but Munduk Nature lodge was an excellent and simple accommodation from where we went on several excursions and hikes.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nature Lodge. If you’re traveling to Munduk for nature, this is the place to be. You sleep in a beautiful bungalow overlooking the jungle (waking up to that view is truly magical). The family who runs the lodge is incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything you need. The food was also fantastic, freshly prepared and full of flavor. My stay at Munduk Nature Lodge was excellent. The family who have started this business only recently made me feel so welcome. I felt like part of the family :) The rooms are beautiful and excellent value for money. As this is a new business, at the time of writing, not all the external facilities are finished. But this did not really impact on my stay. They are currently finishing the restaurant, which will have amazing views. Kadet has lots of plans, including growing organic rice on the property. It is exciting. His wife, Emma and his daughter Kanaya are beautiful! I look forward to coming back next year to see the completion of the projects. The location is a little out of the centre so I used a driver with a scooter or car to get places. It was easy.

Everything was great.

Kadek and Ketut (father and his son) are the most friendly people we have met in Bali. There mission is to be sustainable rather then very profitable. The way that they are creating this lodge, and the sustainable philosophy is fantastic. The rooms are 10/10 value for money and the location is great. They showed us around the 4 hectare ground and told us about all the fruits and crops that grow there. The smiles and friendliness was unmatched anything we had in Bali. When in Munduk, this is THE stay. They are currently building the restaurant (they do breakfast), so it will only get better.

Nothing to complain about if you come prepared for a rustic stay as there is no WiFi, TV or hairdryer. Maybe the owner can just put a glass in the bathroom for guests to save water when brushing teeth.

Rustic location with great view of the countryside from the balcony. Even though there was no air-conditioning, just a fan, it was still cool at night. Bathroom was large and spacious and comes with good toiletries. Dinner of ayam goreng was great!

The location is somewhat remote, which is the case for several homestays in Munduk. Which on the other hand is better than locations along the main road with its ongoing noice. And the host is willing to drop you anywhere you need or to provide you with a scooter.

Nice room with a view, very friendly and helpful host. With a very positive intention and actions for developing Munduk and its tourism in a sustainable way, taking care of its wonderful nature.

We loved it was a family run homestay in the most beautiful huts with the most stunning of views. Kadek, Emma and their beautiful little daughter Kanaya, were the best of hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Rivers, waterfalls and many warungs in the vicinity, either walking or driving. Loved it, will be back 💕 PS. The tour round their self sufficient pasture to plate garden is a must, and hearing of Kadeks vision for his homestead 🙏

the location is perfect to start several hikes (waterfall trail / ricefields) or to discover the environment per scooter staff is very kind and helpfull (eg scooter rental solution, practical info on the area) the hotel is led by a very nice family and the work is still ongoing to continue to make this a lovely place. it is small scale, pure and very much relaxed. the room is practical, clean. Fair price value relation

Delightful & cosy cottage-like room with a terrace and wonderful view, shiny new bathroom with quality complimentary toiletry, great breakfast - made with ingredients from the property's own organic farming - all of this immersed in the beautiful forest, a short 10 min walk from the main road of Munduk. The owners are wonderfully hospitable, engaging and helpful - many thanks for giving me a second router which made for the perfect connection I needed for a work call, for giving me not one but two rides when I most needed them, for advising on walking trails, for showing me around the farm and for offering a taste of local specialities beyond what was listed in the menu. I've had a lovely stay and would most gladly visit again, thank you so much!!

One bed didn’t have a mosquito net, which would have been good so i could leave the window open overnight, but it didn’t affect my sleep. I had a comfortable sleep regardless, and a brilliant stay here at short notice.

Oh my goodness the staff were incredible! So friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The location was also breathtaking, as well as the breakfast and hospitality provided. We truly felt so welcome. The room also had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. I would happily spend weeks here.
