How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewIt’s perfect in every way I care about in a hotel. The staff were outstanding, always smiling and polite. Check in was easy. The lobby is spectacular with lots of seating available. The room itself was fabulous, with a nice couch, a work desk, a TV with our preferred news channels, and a huge, comfortable bed. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and bath, with toiletries that one would need. Downstairs are several restaurants to dine in. We tried the Cascade Lounge, great to have coffee and cake in; the Table8 for Chinese food where we had great tasting soup and roast duck; the Il Mare for Italian food where we had a fish and a chicken dish (should have tried the pizzas, they looked extremely good); and we went to CJ’s Bar for drinks. There is also a huge confectionery shop on the ground floor for sweet cravings. Such a great place to stay and we will certainly be back in future.

Verified reviewEverything about this hotel was exceptional. The breakfast was amazing, everything was clean, and the staff was so friendly. The best part were the beds, I've never slept in such comfortable beds in my whole life! I came for a concert at the Indonesia Arena, so the location was perfect, I was able to walk back after the performance which was so convenient. I would love to stay again.

1. Very, very slow lifts. There are 6 lifts and you sometime had to wait 10mins for a lift. If hotel is full, lift is slow and full. Also hotel.service staff are also using the guest lifts, making it slow. If not for the closeness to Arena Indonesia, I would choose another hotel. 2. If hotel is full, room service takes one hour minimum. 3. They ask for 2mil rupiah as deposit, charged immediately to your card. But the refund will take 7 days. Other hotels do not take deposits. 4. This hotel rate, fees and F&B is expensive. There is nothing else nearby for food alternative.

Verified reviewThe pillows and the bed were HEAVENLY. Location was fantastic since we were there to watch j-hope’s concert, and we got to and from the stadium so quickly that even when the concert ended later than we expected we were still able to get to bed as planned!
They were a bit slow on housekeeping. We had to keep calling them to clean, and when they did, they didn’t refill the shower gel when it was obviously running low. Breakfast buffet wasn’t terrible but I didn’t enjoy it.

Verified reviewStaff were friendly and helpful. There was a wide variety of restaurants and cafes in the hotel, and it is close by to a couple of local malls as well as concert venues. The staff informed me of how busy the hotel would be, and arrangements were made for breakfast timing, to allow for a seamless experience.
The lifts are a bit slow. When the hotel was at full capacity, it took a long time to get anywhere.

Verified reviewLobby has a nice scent. We were able to check in as early as 10am! Front desk staffs were helpful, welcoming and always smiling. Room was amazing, 2 large single beds and fluffy pillows. We had a good night sleep after a long day. Breakfast spread was good. Check out was a breeze.
Would prefer not to have been allocated one hour for breakfast. There’s so many choices to try.
