It was a beautiful old house, beds where big, rooms were big, every room had a bathroom, it was like a share house.

The showers were inconstant, one shower was losing and gaining pressure, and the second shower had bugs in it.

Friendly host who helped order dinner to be delivered when we arrived in the evening. Beautiful view to wake up to in the morning.

The access street down from the main road is REALLY steep. Our driver was very concerned about how steep it was and whether he'd be able to turn around and get back up the hill. It was ok in the end (just), but something to be aware of.

The view to the mountains. A kitchen with microwave and enough plates and cutlery, where the caretaker staff (only one) washed up.

1) the steep and extremely narrow access lane to the property. A motorbike cannot pass head on with a car in the opp direction. In fact to the point it is frightening to drive. 2) No drinking water provided although there is a water dispenser. Had to rely on tap water and we had to cook it ourselves. one of the two burner on the stove doesn't work. the caretaker ordered a liter (only) of water but when it arrived, we had to pay for it! We were a party of 4 adults and 4 children. 3) Electricity brown out in the wee hours of the morning. No water then from the taps. Cannot even have a drop of water to cook to drink nor wash up or shower or shit! Should have a gen set! this is a commercial business! 4) One of my party broke her glasses during the brown out. No torches or candles provided. These are cheap and simple solutions but alas, none! 5) Hooks in bathroom simply fall off when trying to hang up a bath towel. No monitoring on such simple matters. 6) Only one small bedside table in the double room, with no other tables. Had to put our things on the floor. 7) TV doesn't work (says "no signal"). Caretaker just says ; "sorry , doesn't work and thats it" 8) Whe it rains, the common balcony and stairs (esp to the top floor family room) flooded and slippery wet to the extent it is dangerous for kids. 9) all the stairs, right from the parking area to the first floor to the second floor are rather steep, not suitable for old folks. 10) When checking out (at 7.30 am), mainly because there is nothing to do and relax after watching the sunrise, had to pay cash. No facilties for card or mobile transfer. And not enough small change returned by the caretaker, again just "sorry not enough change!" I can add more negatives but I guess these are enough, I have never stayed in a worst place where simple solutions can be had but the owner or management doesn't take the trouble to think or do.

The view was nice. Unfortunately it was raining most of the time. The room is spacious and very clean.

There was no hot water. Nobody was around to tell that there was no hot water. Very isolated Location, you really need your own transport. Our room is on the common room with viewing verandah outside, when other guests wake up, in our case a family of young children, then it is very loud. No breakfast or food facilities, which is disappointing for such an isolated accommodation.

Just Simple accommodation ,be careful with steep roads close to homestay , A bit overpriced, no service at all, they should give at least simple breakfast/nasi goreng with the price.room size is big

Superb location to catch sunrise over the mountains. Also very spacious room and lots of privacy.

I found the language barrier between Indonesian and English a bit frustrating

It was beautiful to see the Sunrise behind the volcano from the bed!!

i did not like the lights, cold, not pleasant. Nobody offered a Coffee or possibility of breakfast. It was a cold place.
