How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThis property was really special. A very unique experience. Sami was amazing! He built us a fire and cooked us dinner and was very attentive to all of our different needs. I loved the peace and the nature!
I missed windows. The bathroom was dark and not that nice. There was a great bathtub outside however we didn’t use it!

Verified reviewIt was perfect. Amazing stay with very nice and kind employees. If I can give a tip: There were not so much signs on the road to the hotel so it was a bit of a search. I would create more signs along the road. (there is just one road, before you need to take the small walking path)

Verified reviewA truly unique camp where you feel very welcome and appreciated. Only two yurts so it’s much like a private setting. The location was like nothing we’ve ever experienced before, only palm trees and jungle vibes outside the room.

Verified reviewIt was incredible just to wake up and see in front of you the majestic jungle and nature... The place was exactly like in the photos so you know what you are gonna get. They'd offer complimentary coffee, tea, refillable bottled water, air conditioning even... To be able to achieve such luxury accommodation in the middle of the jungle is an achievement. I don't get the comments about the hot water not being enough, it was enough to take long showers and also to fill the bathtub, which is a dream to bathe in the middle of that paradise by the way. Regarding breakfast everything was great too, we would tell them the night before which time we would want breakfast and what we'd want and they'd make everything possible to get what we needed, I have some intolerances and they took it into account and they adjusted to all our needs. I read some negative comments that after spending 3 nights there I don't understand, I think it's important to be humble and comprehend that no matter the price you're paying for, you have to be realistic about the place you are, in the middle of the jungle there are some things that nobody can control. (For example the lack of certain products because it's a difficult place to get to or the natural noises or the bugs, I'm not gonna rate them less for those things, it makes no sense to me 🤷🏽♀️) Apart from all this, the experience was incredible because the manager was available for us through WhatsApp almost 24/7 and it was just not the accommodation they provided, it was also the service. Everything we needed, from a private driver, until cooking class, massages delivered to our place, transfers to the center or dinners, Korry was there for you to make sure you got everything you needed the best and fastest way possible. The guys working there (sorry because I'm horrible with names) were always extremely kind and nice to us. I couldn't have and I wouldn't have asked for more.

Verified reviewWe stayed at tent 1, the view was amazing with sunset and rice fields. We really enjoyed spending time in the balcony and interior decoration is really nice. Staff was really friendly and nice.
The food options are limited and I got a mild Bali belly from the soup I ordered from there. On the other hand, my boyfriend ordered nasi goreng and satay and he was okay. Also, from the previous comments I was expecting something better so let me say that breakfast is very simple. It’s quite remote for any ordering any food from outside so it would be wise to take your own food going in.

Verified reviewFantastic place to appreciate Munduk ! Quite hectic to reach but the place totally worth it, the view is stunning from the room, the staff is really helpful and friendly. It's totally possible to go walk from here to the waterfalls around if you're OK with some uphill tracks. Thanks a lot for the experience, we totally enjoyed it !
Bit hard to find for the taxi but Google Maps was our friend

Verified reviewThe views! The geo-dome-tent was perfect. Spacious, great view, air conditioned. The tent was in a covered area with an outdoor table and chairs, and an outdoor tub. It’s a great set up.
It was a bit of a walk from where the car dropped us off to where the spot was. I had a hurt back and it was a bit of a challenge, but it certainly could have been worse. It wasn’t that bad.

Verified reviewOur stay here was truly special and original, with a stunning view. The two staff members, Sami and Yuda, were really amazing—very friendly and always ready to help. The dinner options were surprisingly good, even compared to other places we tried in the area. The bathroom was great, and despite being a tent, the facilities were excellent. There were enough electricity points, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience!
One thing to keep in mind is that accessibility can be a bit challenging. The walk to the accommodation includes a few steep sections and some gravel or small stone paths, which might make it difficult with a large suitcase. However, the staff is extremely helpful and always willing to assist with luggage. It’s just something to consider for those who may have mobility concerns. That said, the experience is well worth it!

Verified reviewThe place is really nice and it is a mix of local and modern settlement. We enjoyed listening to the sounds of nature and relaxing on the large terrace next to our igloo. The settlement is 100-150 m from the main road and the walking path is next to a small river. The view is really amazing. The owner was extremely kind and helpful with all we needed. The food was delicious and really cheap. Also he carried our luggage on his motor bike from the main road. 🙏

Verified reviewWe stayed for three nights in this amazing bubble room in Munduk, and it was an unforgettable experience! The view, the service, and the cozy design of the room were all perfect. It was definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed in Bali. The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by greenery and rice paddies. It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge, far from the busy areas in the south of the island. Even though it was a bit above our budget, it was worth every penny. A big thank you to Samy and his colleague for their kindness and excellent service! Samy was so helpful, even carrying our luggage on his scooter from the road to our room. Both he and his colleague were so friendly and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The room itself was very comfortable and well-designed, with everything we needed. The view of the forest was breathtaking, and the breakfasts were delicious! We also felt very safe and calm during our stay, which made it even better. Thank you, Samy—you’re the best! We hope to come back again to this wonderful place.

Verified reviewThe beautiful place around nature with a sunset view. Very good mattress, hard and healthy. We enjoyed the stay very much.
The access to the camp is via a dirt one-lane road. We drove there by car, and it’s difficult to pass other cars. Parking is along the road, as you can't drive directly to the camp, and then you need to walk about 150 meters along a trail.
