The windows didn’t close properly and the airconremote was kind of broken. There is a 10-15 walking distance to the center, for anyone who doesn’t like walking to far. For me it was no problem.

For the price I paid it was good. Really simple. Staff is nice and breakfast is included. Shower was not really with a lot of pressure but still enough.

The room lacked cleanliness. It was very basic, no bin in the bathroom, no soap, nothing to hold the shower head, water leaking, AC remote control not really working.

The owner and his family are very welcoming. As far as I know, I was the only guest. It was nice and quiet and the area is pleasant as well. The room is very spacious and the breakfast was delicious. As the port is a bit far and sometimes uphill (15min) - they took me by motorcycle even very early in the morning :)

The location is not near the port but the owners drove us so it was ok. Also there is a really nice beach but a 15 min walk away (Hidden beach). A tip to the owner is to have a trash bin in the bathroom:)

Nice and helpful owner. Comfy beds and good airconditon. We only stayed here one night for a stop before going to gili and it was nice.

The bathroom was disgusting, the wc didn’t work properly, the shower almost didnt work. There were no sockets to charge the phones and the walls’ paint peeled off.

The outside part of the house was very nice, and the pool too. AC worked very well

We didnt swim in the pool as it seemed a little dirty. Also a bit far from the centre but it’s walkable distance :)

Family atmosphere, felt safe. The stay exceeded my expectations as I was expecting something much worse for the low price they asked :)

It is very outdated. Room/bathroom was not really like showed on the pictures. The family living in the house was friendly, but nowhere to be found with check-in and check-out.

It was close to the harbour, which was nice since we were leaving early the next morning.

It's a bit far from the main road, if you are traveling the first time during the night in Indonesia the path might be a bit scary.

It's a private house. The people are super friendly and helpful.The bedroom is Ok if you just want a place to crash.

It is a bit far from town, uphill and strenuous to get there. The family makes an effort to help at no charge. Bikes and taxis do not appear to roam the area, so walking is inevitable. As in many Asian countries, plumbing fixtures don't work well or are broken but all functions could be performed in this house..I could overlook the problems.

Traditional Balinese house, lovely family, beautiful small children, very willing to help, hold conversations, share their lives. Good people. Room was large, big bed, comfortable, own bathroom, kitchen area and pool. This creates a feeling of connection to the family, and the challenges of illness in the old man. Wayan, the matriarch, brings breakfast free when she sees you are awake. Putu Nita is a great support ; her husband is also in tourism. This was an intimate encounter which will lead to real sharing with a longer stay.

Nothing - for the price I paid I have no complaints.

What you have to remember is the price you are paying before you pick faults, the facilities may not be 5* but the family who own it are 10* there is a beautiful beach 10 mins walk, try to support local when you can

Beautiful house, accessible to the beach and downtown, as well as restaurants. We rented a motorcycle from the hostel for 75K a day and had a great time. The family was friendly, and the room was perfect with AC. 100% recommended.

I like this place, it is far from the center, close to a beautiful sandy beach, and there is also a good restaurant nearby. I recommend renting a scooter that the owner provides from his brother.

Tired shower room could do with a high pressure shower and not a bath apart from that great

The fact it was a stone throw away from the amazing secret beach a must visit And also the port location to gili islands and for the price can't complain

I enjoyed relaxing in the pool, the family here were very friendly and helpful. Also it was a nice walk into town and very interesting meeting the friendly local people. I highly recommend it was so much fun.
