Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. GermanyThe showerhead should be exchanged, for once its hard to shower with it, because the water spreads in every direction, also outside, because of which the whole floor in front of the bathroom was filled with water. Also we could've needed a fridge, when we had leftovers they always turned bad for the next day. The service was weird, once he restricted the breakfast time and said its tomorrow only till 8.40, we did the hike that night, therefore were sleeping during that time, also, if a accommodation offers breakfast it should not be restricted. You could not choose your breakfast als also he wanted us to checkout at 11 even though it says 12, and he cleaned the room only once and we had twice no toilet paper. Also there was no water to drink.
A very nice room, we'll decorated and a lot of space :) Also a good location, very central but still separated, so that it's not too loud. The rooftop is also very nice

IndiaStaff forced me to checkout at 11.00 am however checkout time was 12.00 Very conjusted walking area and located where paints are being used on daily basis for painting. This caused some paint marks on my rented scooter. Parking space too conjusted. My rented scooty got scratches and paints mark. In breakfast I ate banana pancakes and Same fruits for two continuous days. They really need to give thoughts about breakfast.
Location is good. Rooms was fine. The mount batur tour and atv tour was taken through a company by their suggestion. This is by far my most amazing experience in bali.

IndiaAccess to the home stay is from a small lane and car parking or car access not possible.The bathroom needs upgrade in terms of some basic fixtures.
It is a comfortable yet affordable home stay with good value for money.The location is very central and very close to ubud market.The host Eric and his entire family are very courteous and friendly. Breakfast is limited in choice and simple eggs and fruits but good enough. Our deluxe room was clean and as shown in the picture.

United KingdomThere was a bit of noise through the double doors as they didn’t close properly and are quite thin. Could hear dogs barking repeatedly at times until early hours. Breakfast was great, but I personally preferred the pancakes over variation of this and scrambled eggs - but I think guests asked for variation so I can’t knock this place for listening to what their guests want.
We stayed on the top floor, the room was outstanding. So spacious, AC worked great and was so comfortable. Very private entrance, you are left peacefully during your stay to come and go as you please.

NetherlandsThe entrance is a little bit difficult to find when the market is open, but once you know it is fine. I do not understand the negative reviews, maybe if you expect a 5-star resort but you are staying with a very kind, local family that opened their home for us. Some of the rooms can maybe use some maintenance, but I would recommend staying in the superior double room.
I always love to stay at Meranggi, already coming here for many years and it feels like home. The construction work is finished and they have an amazing new room on the second floor. Very comfortable, beautifully designed, a bath, a small sofa, fridge and away from the noise. The breakfast is lovely and they make it with care.

CanadaDifficult to find the place first time. No sign boards. The place is in a narrow shopping street. Good for young travelers. The rooms are in first floor accessible by narrow staircase. Difficult to carry suitcases or heavy bags through the narrow staircases especially for elderly. The landlord helped with bags to the rooms. Rooms are neat. Aircon not working on our first day of stay. Repaired next day. Bathroom slippery and no proper drainage. Breakfast menu could be improved. We stayed for three nights. First decided to move to another place but hesitantly decided to stay as difficult to move with suitcases. Car drop/pick up to the nearest street, then you'll have to walk through the narrow shopping street with all your bags to find the place.
Location close to main street. Landlords friendly, Rent reasonable.

Here is why: - There was construction work at the time of my rental and we were not informed of this prior to booking or checking in and it was not written in the posted instructions. - The staff was upset because we were looking for him to ask for breakfast and we asked a woman was there instead (the woman is one of the staff). - No towels or Iron are provided and the toilet is dirty.

Indonesia- maybe just the aircon. It’s a bit hot for us due to the weather when we went to ubud was really hot and the aircon not cold enough.
- room is clean and spacious - the toilet also clean and water works really well - close to every touristic places since it’s in the central between jalan monkey forest, jalan Raya ubud , jl gaotama - the owners are also very friendly and helpful - breakfast also good

Czech RepublicUnfortunately the wifi did not work almost at all. The bed linen and towels smelled very bad as the bathroom drain. The AC did not work properly and smelled bad too. Over all very smelly stay. Lot of fruit on the breakfast, but only one option for the meal - pancakes.
