We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Czech RepublicYou have to walk almost 200 meters from the taxi because of the narrow street (some people may find it annoying, but we were glad to be away from the main road). I have no doubt that the owner would help you with your suitcases if this is a problem for you. Unlike many accommodations in Ubud, this does not have a swimming pool.
I have never experienced such a value for money before (approx. 10 EUR/night/person). The owner used to work in a hotel, and he doesn't give up on standards even in this home apartment environment. He wants to have nice accommodation and the investments are visible. Cleanliness, calm and pleasantness of the host - you can count on it. The center of Ubud is within walking distance, and there are good, budget-friendly restaurants along the way. Breakfast is not included in the price, so you have the option of eating out - but that wasn't the case for us, as the breakfast (wide selection) was excellent and served right in our room.

South KoreaIt’s a 10-minute walk from Ubud Palace, but that was fine for me. I often used Grabbike, and the place is quiet with a lovely, open view.
Very clean and nice! ✨ I first booked 3 nights, but I stayed 3 more nights because I loved it here. The room is always clean, bright with plenty of sunlight during the day, and the host is very kind. There’s drinking water and a water dispenser with hot water, a fridge with a freezer, and complimentary instant coffee in the room. There are also plenty of sockets next to the bedside table and around the room, so it’s very convenient. If you like clean places with everything you need, you will love this one. Perfect! Considering the price, iit's a wonderful choice. And if you ever want more luxurious facilities or services, you can simply choose a more expensive place. 👌 (The photo was taken on my first night, so it looks a bit dark.)
