The lightbulb in the bathroom wasn’t great, there were cobwebs in the bathroom and hair left from previous travellers but they did replace towels / bedsheets and freshen up the room for me as I stayed for quite a while

Very close to the main side of the island, about a 3 minute Cycle ride. The hosts were so lovely and I really appreciated their hospitality. They have adorable cats and rabbits there too. AC works perfectly with remote to control temp. Two bedside tables, hangers and drying racks. A place to wash your feet outside before entering, personal outside seating area and a place to store bikes.

The water pressure in the shower could be slightly better, but this would not stop me from recommending this place.

The couple that run the place are super sweet and made us feel right at home. It’s not a big island so the location was perfect and in a great place to get to both sides quickly.

Far enough away from the main strip so you didn’t hear the parties but close enough to get everywhere easily. The owners very lovely and air con was nice and cold!

The property isn’t fancy, but it is safe, clean and an affordable place to stay. if you are looking for fancy this isn’t for you.

The location is awesome, only 7-8 minute walk to the beach. The owner is very kind and assisted me when I needed help or information. The room is very clean, the air conditioning felt amazing on the hot days.

None of these were a problem for us, but worth mentioning for your information. Place has not much natural light. Wifi did not work during our 3 night stay. But we had mobile internet anyways. Mosques were pretty loud, but it is the case on almost all locations in Gili.

Easy check-in. Location good, only few minutes walk from the beach / port. Liked the tap outside porch, to wash off sand before entering the room. Very thoughtfull. Liked the sweeep and dustpan in the room. We liked the hosts, they were kind and friendly. Room size was ok. Room and bed linen were clean. We liked that we could hang our clothes in different places. Mattress was very comfy. Towels were new. AC was strong, cooling, working fine. We liked the kind of privacy at the porch. We liked that the host was keeping an eye on the property at all times, felt secure, no non-residents could have entered without the host noticing. No insects in the room. Overall good value. Suited for 3 nights stay.

The room was very run down. If you get it for a real cheap price then ok, we probably paid a lot but that’s because it was high season and nothing much left on the island. Was passable for one night. No hot water, not much light. The room needs a fair bit of attention.

The location it was close enough to the main area by foot or bike. Brilliant air conditioning!

The bathroom was almost totally dark because you could use only an emergency light to lighten it up. The toilet was very dirty when I arrived... I didn't like the bathroom at all. 3 times I could not flush and had to call the host to fix it.

They did not include a breakfast, but not always needed since there are so many places to eat in the island.

This was an amazing Homestay in Gili! Amazing room for the price, family was friendly and the bed was very comfortable. Room was so clean and I didn’t see any bugs. Hot showers and air conditioning worked great. Can’t ask for much more in Gili and it was a convenient location to get anywhere in the island in a bike.

Has everything you need. Staff are lovely. Perfect if you like to travel on a budget and are wanting somewhere quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street.

The whole place is a dump, considering it’s 400K a night I’d expect a working toilet. Toilet didn’t flush we asked about it and turns out it has a 5 step action plan to get it to work slightly. I might as well have peed down my leg for all the use the shower was, barely was able to get out of the shower head the pressure was so bad. We also asked how do you turn the light off, we were told it was broken so stayed on and flickered constantly. No door into the bathroom, instead had a walk in freezer curtain, with plastic strips. Bed sheet had a big purple stain on it too. It’s also right next to the mosque so you get woken up early and then shortly after by the resident cockerels. Neither of us felt clean until we left the place, I know it’s cheap for the island but this is the worst place we stayed in on our trip not worth the money at all.

It is a lovely little homestay with only a few rooms. It is more or less in the centre of the island and you can either walk everywhere or go by bike. The owners were very friendly, always open for a little chat and also sometimes offered me coffee in the morning :). My room was really clean and I could easily extend my stay twice. The owner even gave me a discount without me asking for it. You don't pay for the homestay on booking but cash at the homestay :).
