Maskot Penida Cottage is located in a beautiful and quiet place in the nature. The staff is always friendly and helpful and made our stay wonderful.

The cottages could be a bit more sound proof but its okay, the traffic is almost inexistant.

Our stay here was really comfortable, we actually extended our stay. The place is quiet and well taken care of. The girl at the reception was very kind and nice. The cottage is beautifully decorated, with a small terrace in front, very nice! The bathrooms are clean and the AC works very well. The wifi is good also. The is a small groceries shops right in front of the accomodation( beers, chips and basic things). You also have a kettle and tea and coffee in the room.

An absolute gem! The bungalows are charming, super comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The staff is incredibly kind and always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast is delicious, and the extra services make everything even better: on-site scooter rental, well-organized excursions to explore the beauty of Nusa Penida, and an amazing laundry service — clothes come back perfectly clean with the most incredible scent. All of this in a stunning, peaceful setting that’s perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Truly exceptional — I’ll be back without a doubt!

We had a lovely time at Maskot. We stayed a total of 4 nights. The rooms are quite fresh and really well kept. Be aware the are not fully “sealed” so if you are afraid of the chance of getting small bugs in this is not your place. However, we just got the usual mosquito here and there but the is also a mosquito net around the bed. The bathroom is semi-outside. It’s great for ventilation and it’s also really fresh believe or not! There is a transparent roof so it is okay if it rains as well. The location is quite good too if you want to rent a scooter and explore the island because it is sort of in the middle. We could also rent a scoopy for 100k a day. There is a restaurant next door if you don’t feel like going for a drive to get food, but we didn’t try it so we can’t say if it’s good or bad. There is also a little shop just in front of Maskot where you can buy water, sunscreen, some snacks… The hosts were super nice and paid attention you our needs. They have a really convenient laundry service as well, done in the same day because they use the sun to dry the clothes. They cooked a simple breakfast for us every morning and also gave us some advice on where to go. Finally, they helped us book the ferry ticket and taxi to leave the island. Really nice stay in Maskot:)

Apart from breakfast being basic (but that's the same in most places we stayed at), I would say the location is very far in, so be ready for that. You'll have to rent a scooter and go on a road that can be scary at times (especially with all the turns, and other cars and scooters)

Big beautiful bungalows, strong AC, and very clean. There is also a resort next to it (1 min walk) with a restaurant and a pool. A very beautiful and peaceful spot in the middle of the jungle.

The room was exceptionally clean and looked exactly as shown in the photos, which I truly appreciated. One detail that stood out for me was the presence of a proper door for the bathroom, which I consider very important. Another great feature is the proximity to a nearby hotel close to Maskot Penida, where you can conveniently enjoy lunch and dinner. Putu was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more pleasant. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and hassle-free experience!

The family that runs the place is incredibly nice, they accommodated all our requests with a smile. Breakfast was quite varied and tasty. Super quiet by night. The location is good, not too far from the coast by scooter. The A/C worked great. No complaints at all, it was a truly lovely stay.

I absolutely loved everything - the houses are beautifully decorated and new. The garden is very beautiful and additional landscaping is in progress. I can't say anything bad about the staff or the accommodation, because everything was great.

The breakfast was delicious, the staff very friendly - the location is in the center of the island, but since the island is small, you can reach every point in an hour by motorbike.
