Everything ! The best hostel in Bali and Indonesia for me, I stayed 5 weeks in Indonesia and I never find better than Mango mood ! Everything is amazing, staff, place, food, prices, services, massage, cleaning every day location…. Absolutely amazing !

It would be awesome if filtered cold water was available for guests to refill water bottles, to help reduce single use plastics. I would be prepared to pay for refills over and above multiple single bottles. The WIFI was unstable but fortunately I had an eSIM.

Lovely, picturesque homestay, away from the main road, but close enough to the shops, cafes and main Pemuteran Beach. My room was light, bright and cool with a fan, aircon and mosquito net. Appreciated a wardrobe to hang my clothes, shelves for my bits and pieces, and chair and table. Bonus points for bedside tables and lamps. The bathroom is outside, which some people love and others not so much. I liked it for the aesthetics, but my aversion to mosquitos meant that I used it as little as possible. It was easy to arrange a snorkelling expedition with the host, Kadek (who also runs a dive shop). The snorkelling was both a lowlight and a highlight. Lowlight due to the chronic amount of rubbish at snorkelling site 1 around Menjangan Island. Highlight due to the relatively clean and absolutely incredible marine life at site 2 around the underwater caves on the other side of Menjangen. I'm gluten intolerant so there was limited choice for me to eat on site. However I appreciated the bottomless cups of coffee, fresh fruit plates and eggs for breakfast. Lovely pool and garden. I really appreciated the use of one of the bicycles for getting around Pemuteran. Highly recommend Mango Moon.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The pool was great for an afternoon or evening dip. The room itself is big and the bed comfy. Close to everything but still very quiet.

Creditcard payment is 3% extra. Our bill was high (we also went diving and snorkeling), so 3% extra is quite a lot of money. It would also be better if the bill is split up per day (it was quite messy, because we stayed for multiple days in multiple rooms). There was a small mistake on it.

Great value for money! It is a relatively small hotel with a really good pool. The staff is really friendly. Breakfast is included. The room is good and the bathroom with outside shower is really nice. It is really near the centre, but in a quiet street with a beautiful garden.

No kettle in the room

Great pool and gardens, the room was big with a comfy bed and pillows we had a nice outdoor bathroom. Staff were delightful and helpful, they cooked us a lovely omelette every morning. We booked a snorkeling trip to Menghan island which was great beautiful coral and fish. It’s about a 10 min walk to beach and 5 mins to restaurants, there is a busy road to cross you just have to be careful at night, we had a torch. For the money this place is incredible value I would love to stay again,oh and the water in the shower was hot!!! Which was great.

Arriving from 3 weeks travel on Java, Mango Moon was the perfect place to start slowing down: Beautiful room, bathroom, pool and surroundings; Lovely staff and a good choice of breakfast; great location being an easy walk to the beach but away from traffic and crowds; excellent value.

Everything! This is one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. The individual villas are spacious, clean and comfortable and have their own charm. There is outside seating on your own balcony plus ample seating areas around the rest of the property, plus the beautiful pool area. The staff are absolutely wonderful, so friendly and accommodating, always smiling and happy to help. The breakfasts are lovely 😊 Highly highly recommend staying at this property

The beds are pretty hard, but you get used to it.

The staff was great and always attentive! The pool is beautiful and vary well kept. The rooms are practical and clean. The outside bathroom is awesome, but could use a little work. Overall a great stay!

There was no hot water available for guests. You could only get hot water for coffee. You had to buy bottled water from them instead.

The room was a nice size with good air conditioning, a big comfortable bed and a really lovely bathroom. It had a terrace outside the room to sit and a nice pool and very pretty garden. The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It’s a very pleasant establishment located in a calm aera. The swimming pool is beautiful. The breakfast is freshly cooked every morning, it’s generous and delicious. The host are very kind, we felt very welcomed. They took a very good care of us and they were here whenever we needed something. Mango Moon simply felt like home.

The bedroom are big, very comfortable, we love the outside bathroom. Lot of different nice spot to chill, the swimming pool is beautiful! The staff is so friendly and very helpful! We had some of our best massage there as well! I’ll definitely come back there !

I can only recommend to book here!! Already at the beginning we got welcomed so warmly! Everybody from the team was so friendly and caring! The garden and the pool are a hidden paradise, where you can relax and calm down surrounded by a dog with puppies, chicken and cats. Around the place there are cows and other animals- pure nature! The rooms were perfect: very spacious, a big and comfy bed with mosquito net, a nice little terrace to sit and a beautiful outdoor bathroom! Also the breakfast was great- it got prepared freshly every morning, from pancakes over ricepudding to toast with eggs. Fresh fruits and coffee/tea included. They also prepare lunch and dinner for you- tastes excellent! Also if you want to eat out, there are a lot of options nearby, just a perfect location! So if you are thinking about going to Permuteran, I can only recommend to book here! If you like kindness, nature and good vibes, this is the place for you!
