Gaps in the doors that allowed bugs to roam freely (big caterpillars!). And being not a cat person, they seemed to roam freely somehow making their way into our room easily though the roof rafters. Once even making its way past our mosquito nets into the bed. And also bring some ear plugs! The morning prayer calls are loud!

The location was great , on the beach, sunrise and reef , snorkelling. The staff were very accommodating.

-You guys need lot more cloth hangers to dry our cloths. -Some area of the bedroom flooring is quite slippery.

I like everything about this property. The villa manager, Heri, was spot on and very helpful. The staffs were doing good jobs to run the villa. The villa layout is very functional and the beach front view was very nice .

The noise from the common areas coming through to room. Doors didn’t close well and curtains didn’t pull across well. Please, please get a sign as a board with a tiny symbol was easily missed and a lot of locals weren’t familiar with the location.

Stunning location and well presented. Hari and staff were super helpful and nothing was a problem. The beach bar next door was great value and very convenient.

Worms (some kind of centipedes) can crawl into the rooms via the back porch and shower area. They are harmless and can easily be picked up and thrown out. But the hotel may not be suitable for those who get squeamish around them.

Located right by the beach, which happens to be the best snorkelling spot on the island. Saw lots of turtles just off the shore. The staff were friendly and hospitable, especially Heri, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. There is also a common kitchen area with free water refill and coffee.

Everything was wonderful. We had a double room looking out over the beach where we could watch the sunrise over Mt Rinjani from our bed. Staff blended a mix of being attentive and friendly while also giving us space for a relaxing holiday

Even though the windows are tinted, we didn’t always feel completely private, as the bathroom could be seen from the nearby path. Maybe some more vegetation would help a bit.

Beautiful place to stay and take time for resting. The owners are very friendly. Hearing the sea was so peaceful during our sleep. We recommend this place !

The place is right on the beach. There is a lovely shared kitchenette with a fridge and all facilities. There are two lovely playful kittens in the property. The back mangrove view is amazing. The property opens onto a beach, with a pool. All in all it was perfect and we cant wait to be back

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property but be mindful it is more of a self catering shared villa set up which I really enjoyed. The island life is very rustic in comparison to the uk so don’t be alarmed by the amount of centipedes that vacate the area you get used to them 🙃

The location was fantastic so relaxing right on the beach, you have the option to cool off in the pool or sea.

I liked everything. Great location, nice decor, amazing staff and beautiful mangrove forest behind the building. I especially loved the kittens keeping you company. The place has beautiful energy.

We weren’t in love with the shared facilities being so close to your bed. Adjoining doors were very flimsy and you could hear everything… the concept is great but does take away the feeling of privacy,

Mandala is in a perfect location with a beautiful beach just out the front of your door. We stayed in one of the front rooms which had great views to the beach from your bed. The room is beautifully furnished and has a great vibe.

Gaps between sliding doors and walls . Doors are not fitted correctly, could put my hand through one of the gaps between door frame and wall in my room . Had to stuff part of the curtains and tiebacks to stop any bugs etc coming in during night Can’t leave anything personal in the kitchen area due to not being able to lock the badly fitted doors with the key from the outside In room safe not big enough to put iPad etc in Which you need with the accommodation being shared . Only a pad lock on your individual room door 3 bedrooms share same kitchen/ lounge space I did find a couple of people during my week long stay were not very friendly and made it very clear they were not happy when I entered the kitchen area just to get my drink from the fridge when they were in there Some people were also inconsiderate regarding noise volume when sharing so closely When several people staying in one villa WiFi keeps cutting off If all sliding doors where refitted properly this accommodation would be amazing

Wonderful place and nourishing energy. The space is clean (in energetic level also). An additional gift was that during the wet season you can see a pond from the balcony where a big lizards lives. My child and I really enjoyed watching the lizards. The staff is very pleasant, friendly and helpful. I want to come back. Thank you for nurturing this place so beautifully.

The location of the Mandala Beach Healing Rooms was outstanding! Right across a sandy path to the beachfront. The staff at Mandala was fantastic and helped us with many things like booking a spa appointment at another location and getting a horse buggy to meet our ferry. The vibe of the place was completely peaceful and romantic!

This is a beautiful spot right on the beach. You get your own sun bed and loungers around the pool. The host Heri is very helpful with anything you need. We loved the pool and our room was gorgeous. Loved the outdoor shower.
