Incredible!! Amazing hospitality from Oni and Adi. The place is awesome and they make you feel very confortable. They offer you coffee and tee or whatever you need. It's pure relax and chill.

We did have one night where the party next door got a little loud. In saying this, the property handled the situation very well and made sure it didn't happen again.

We really enjoyed this property! It was clean and comfortable, within walking distance to some pretty cool things, and the pool was a great addition to the property. As a family of four, we booked two rooms which comes with a private pool. All morning swimming with turtles and afternoon sitting poolside until the next meal/adventure. There are a few stores nearby to buy some necessaries, for us, it was beer :)! Staff are available all day and are very friendly!

Adi and Oni were the best staff. They made our stay incredible throughout. Oni was constantly on hand to offer us complimentary coffee and tea, as well as snacks. The villas were very well kept, and the pool area was great. The location is away from all the noise, yet not too far to walk/cycle to different places on the island. We would’ve loved to stay longer had the villas not been fully booked.

Could not fault anything with our stay. Oni and Adi are the most amazing hosts, they ensured our stay was perfect and that we had everything we needed throughout. Oni provided us with tea/coffee whenever we wanted it and coconuts throughout our stay. The accommodation is very clean and beautiful, the bed is super comfy, the pool is BIG and you get 4 sun loungers. We will definitely stay there again! The centre is a 5 minute bicycle/scooter or 20 minute walk. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with cooking utensils, hot/cold drinking water machine, a fridge and seating area.

The reviews did not lie. This place is so beautiful. Firstly, the hosts made this whole stay incredibly wholesome. Oni and Adi were so sweet. They care about your stay and comfort more than you even might. Oni prepared coffee for us in the mornings and was available with information and snacks always. And his smiling face sealed the deal. Aside from the hosts, the room was perfect. A kitchen on-site if you wish to cook and fresh filtered water was always available. The pool is clean and super refreshing. Though it is shared with another room, if you're lucky, you might have it to yourself. You can hire a scooter from them for 30K a day as well. The location is not too far from the city if you don't mind a 20-minute walk or a 6-minute scooter ride. It's almost preferable to stay out of the noise and come back to such a serene room after being in a loud city. If you have a suitcase, suggest taking a horse cart as the walk is a bit rugged in patches (backpacks aren't an issue). Highly recommend this place.

Booked the place by mistake. But I still got to see the room/resort and it was beautiful. Nice pool, comfortable bed and very nice resort in a quiet area (far from the mosque which is key cause they pray over a giant Microphone throughout the night so if you have a bad location you are screwed). Had to cancel, and the management was very understanding.

Beautiful place, short distance to the sea and turtle points. New and clean accomodation with a nice pool. Amazing support by guys from accomodation especially Adi and Onie. They really helped us with everything what we needed. If you want a calm and smooth vacation this is a right place!

Nice new building. Wood and high ceiling in the room gives a nice athmosphere. Outside is a common kitchen and big wooden table. Friendly and helpful staff. Organise all what is needed. 200m to the beach. Excellent for snorkeling. Good value for money. Restaurants close by. Area i quiter than most areas in Gili T. Good Yoga around the corner.

Fantastic holiday, thanks to the great staff at Makuta villa. Mr.ADI was amazing, helped us arrange scooter, boat tickets, just whatever was needed. Mr.ONI was very kind, even brought fruit from his own garden and makes the best ginger tea. Love the place, big pool, privacy.. love to visit it in the future again!

We booked to stay at Makuta for a night with my family. We like it because it’s a brand new building, very nice, clean, and friendly environment. The building is consisted of 4 rooms, since we book 3 rooms and the the other room is empty, the whole place is like a private villa for us. We loved it so much, the staffs are very nice and friendly. The bed is comfortable. Makuta Villa located close to the beach and turtle points for snorkeling. Everything is good for us. Thank you for an excellent service.

If you are someone who is respectful and looking for a peaceful and authentic experience in Gilli then this is the place for you! However If you are looking for more of a social / party scene then head down to sunset beach or anywhere near the harbour as it will be better suited for you! :) The villa is located in a quiet and local area of Gilli T so you can expect to see off road tracks with options of local restaurants near by. It’s important to note that this villa Is quite a bit away from the party side / main stretch so it’s perfect for relaxing and snorkelling with a small beach round the corner! A big Thankyou to Onnie and Adi who are the most friendly and hard working staff we’ve met since being in Indonesia. They made us feel so welcome and really made our time here special. They were super helpful with recommendations around the island and anything we needed. We hope to come back soon!

The property was amazing, clean, affordable and cosy. The staff were brilliant and friendly couldn’t recommend this place enough. Although it’s out of the way from the main side of the island it’s definitely the place to stay minutes from turtle beach and still a short bike ride from all the action!

It was the perfect getaway for us. The villas are lovely, although far away from the center the peaceful surrounding made the stay enjoyable, the turtle snorkeling point and beach are walking distance away. We really enjoyed our stay. Will be back as soon as we can!

Two rooms share one pool, our first night there was no one in the other room so we had the pool to ourselves which was fabulous. Adi the owner arranged bikes for us and was always there to welcome us home and ask about our day each time we returned. Kitchen available to use included filtered hot and cold water, tea and coffee provided which was a nice touch.

Walls are not quite soundproof, you can hear people from other rooms talking/watching videos..

Short distance to the sea, personal is really nice and proactive. Interior is minimalistic but functional. Dryer is movable so you can put it to the sun. Enjoyed our time in the pool. Good deal for the price!
