A little isolated without a scooter but Wayan safely took me wherever I needed to go

Wayan and his beautiful wife were a pleasure to stay with. They genuinely care for their guests and that was much appreciated as a solo traveller. The place is quiet, clean and a great insight into local village life away from the busier parts of Nusa Penida. Thank you both for taking care of me!

The road to the accommodation was a little rough on the scooter.

The peace and quiet of the local farming village. Beautiful hospitality and friendly staff. The rental scooter was great for sightseeing around the area. Fantastic pool to cool off in.

The bathroom is very basic and miss some equipment. The road to access is not easy. The village is 15 minutes by walk but by scooter you need to go back to the main road first and it take 12 minutes.

Few bungalows just outside the village. Nice pool and nice bedroom (comfortable bed) . Kadek was very friendly and helpful.

The Wi-Fi connection could be more stable, but overall, everything else was excellent.

The woman who hosted us was incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind. She also made delicious food and a great breakfast. The property is very clean, and the rooms were well-maintained. The pool was nice and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The location is peaceful and quiet—perfect for those looking to unwind. You can come by bike or car; the road has a few pebbly spots, but it’s manageable and not a big issue. Diamond and Atuh beaches are very close by, which is a big plus. My family really enjoyed the stay. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow and sometimes on and off.

Awesome staff super sweet and available. They did everything to accomodate us, helped to book the ferry back to Bali, provided a private driver for the day and made us breakfast super early so we could go watch the sunrise.

We LOVED our stay at Mahendra Cottage. Kadek is the best host you could wish for and the place is so wonderfull. Good food, beautifull location far away from tourist places, authentic feel and lovely interactions with the family. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We were here celebrating our 2 year anniversary and were received very warmly. Everything about the place is very well thought off. The bedroom is big, comfy and very clean. Everyone was so so friendly and helpful, our dinner was amazing and the sunset from the pool was breathtaking. I would recommend it on a heart beat!

Great service from bu Kadek and her sayang! Bed was comfy, water pressure good! Great sunrise view and close to Diamond Beach, which was a huge treat for us. We wish we could have stayed longer and Kadek's food was better than restaurant food we had in the area at twice the price.

Road to the village is pumpy…

The truth is that everything was incredible, I wanted to get into the pool.

The service was super good, the location is also incredible and knowing that they are going to add a pool soon, I will be super excited to return with my friends and family to spend a quality stay at a 10/10 price, without a doubt I would go back.

Highly recommended place to stay when in Diamond Beach area. The owners are lovely people who will take a good care of you - show you the shortcut to the beach (it's a walking distance - much shorter than what Google maps shows), cook really well (best noodles with chicken I've had so far) and help you get a driver with reasonable price, if needed.

Such a kindness … amazing local owners who take amazing care of their cottage. Localization is ideal 15 minutes drive from Diamond Beach but away from the crowd. My friend lost his drone in the forest and the owner as very helpful in searching from it.

It is a family run business. The hosts are really nice people. The cottage is located in a beautiful rural area, close to some of the iconic beaches of Nusa Penida. You can easily move around the island with a scooter. They provide all kinds of services like snorkeling, car pick up, scooter rental, speedboat booking. The food in the restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend the place.

The host is the most warm hearted host I’ve ever met. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views from the terrace. It’s a good value for the money and it’s clean. If you are looking for the quite place to stay this is your place:)
