Lovely homestay in real balinese village. Clean room with very comfy bed. Restaurant is on the premises and if you need something they will organise it for you without any problems. Also -the village itself is nice and lively.

Great value, very helpful staff. The owner is very responsive and helped arrange our transport! We rented a scooter so we could drive around. Would definitely recommend! We didn't do any tours, but they offer many options if you want to do any activities.

The reception area is a bit ordinary hence my first impression being not good.

First impressions at "reception" weren't great however the room was excellent with big bathroom and terrace balcony. Plenty of power points for charging was a bonus. The young boys looked after us by driving us everywhere we needed to go on the back of their motorbikes and during the Bali power outage the staff went out of their way to rig up lighting via their generator.

2 things would have made this stay amazing One a fridge in the room, it was hot and cold drinks would have been wonderful We had a message that we could get breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. When we arrived, there was no one pointing us in the right direction or informing us of the times the kitchen was open. Luckily, there were a lot of wurungs in the area

I loved that it is a family ran business, and they were lovely. All happy and smiling and willing to help. Bed was very comfortable, and Edi made some wonderful creations with the towels. The outdoor shower was good very rustic but did the job fine. Beautiful gardens, with a little bit of attention to detail, this place would be totally amazing

Nothing everything was great!!!

Edi was our host and was very nice. We got allot of food and even a fresh fruit bowl. They serve a really nice nasi goreng! The location is perfect for snorkel activities to menjangan wich they also provided for is for a great price. Would definitely recommend to visit here. It felt like we we're part of the family. Also a great room with a really nice bed! Nothing but positive vibes!

It is not like a hotel chain experience, but with a good renovation, design standard, room standard, service standard, and training, it can be better.

We were on a road trip, me, my wife and 2 sons. The plan is to cross Banyuwangi to Ketapang and arrive in the evening to catch the diving trip we planned earlier to Menjangan Island. So we looked for an affordable hotel that would help us to sleep and be ready tomorrow for the diving trip. We found Made Menjangan Homestay that seems to fit for our requirement. It turns out that it is. We rented 2 rooms. 1 with the wooden structure, and our sons were in the regular room. I can only say about the wooden room, it is good, value for money, clean enough. However, it is not the room that is worth my comments and points, it is the staff. They proactively contacted me even before I crossed Banyuwangi. He contacted me to prepare for my arrival. This is good! Just like a boutique hotel experience. That young chap, Putu Edi, didn't appear as a professional hotel staff. He didn't wear any uniform, instead, he wore a normal t-shirt, but he knew how to serve with a smile and was very friendly. I left my Las Vegas Hard Rock hoodie, it is a special hoodie for me, Putu Edi helped me to send it to my address in Jakarta. This left an amazing impression on me. that is why, Made Taro Homestay is worth my comment. for the owner of Made Taro, Putu Edi deserves a raise. :)

Everything was great realy! You do need to realize that the town requires a small walk with a light at night.

Appartments where new and very comfertable. Staff extremely caring and service was great. Food served was very tasty and local. Any problems where solved quickly.

The staff were incredibly friendly, they even ffered us lifts to where we were going next. The location is very convenient, and the place itself is beautiful, makes you want to keep taking photos. The food in the restaurant was very tasty too.

Made Taro homestay is an excellent budget friendly place. We are a family of 4 with teenage kids. Spacious, clean, & well maintained rooms, cold ac & hot water, free wi-fi. We didn't purchase the breakfast option so can't comment on food. The staff are friendly and super accommodating. We arrived at 11 pm and someone was waiting for us. Mr. Made is such a kind man and he strived hard to meet our needs. He owns the Menjangan activity centre where we purchased the snorkeling package. His prices are competitive but such excellent quality. I would come again.

Nothing to complain

The room is spacious and clean. Friendly staff and host. Good internet and AC inside the room. The restaurant served delicious food. The host offers a wide variety of tours in the zone and services at a fair price. Only 30 min walk from White Sandy Beach, you can rent a scooter if you want to do it quicker. Really nice stay! Will come back
