Absolutely exceptional place to stay - in your private villa with a pool and outstanding views of rice terraces outside, with beautiful, luxurious villa interior, tasteful decoration. We were able to relax and unwind. The staff is very kind and helpful, exceptional breakfast served in your room or on your own terrace by the pool. The location is perfect as in a waking distance you can find restaurants with great food and prices, as well as enjoy the quote surroundings. It is also a great location for exploring other parts of the island. I would strongly recommend Maddu Suites!

Breakfast was brought from another site. Would be better to offer an eat in voucher so people can go to the actual restaurant because the meal is cold by the time it gets to the villa. Bathroom skylights leak which causes a slip hazard. Water pump is noisey. The hot water wasn't hot enough to heat the stone bath so unless you like a Luke warm bath the bath wasn't usable. Hot water really needed to be hotter.

Lovely villa with a private pool. Staff were amazing. Always asking what they can do help. Beautiful setting. Location suited us as we wanted to explore but it is a long way from Ubud. The design of the villa was perfect and the bathroom very luxurious.

Breakfast could be more varied.

I like the way our villa looked. It was spacious and it had a very large bed. The outside garden was nice with 2 terrace and one place to take your breakfast in shade. We had a nice private pool and from the garden you could see the rice fields. In the evening and morning you hear the nature sounds, feel the wind and it is the perfect place to relax.

i really enjoyed the room, the way it was so clean & comfortable. we felt so good in there, the room exceeded our exceptions. Would definitely recommended it. Thanks to all the amazing staff (Indra, Jony, Putra & Perdi), who were so helpful and incredibly kind. Also, the location is so nice, you’ll be next to many things to visit (waterfall, temple etc), I recommend rent a motorbike to the hotel.

The only thing that could of been better is having something over the gap in the bottom of the sliding doors it allowed bugs in at night, not a huge deal as we put beach towels across the door to cover and solve the issue.

Maddu suites were lovely little space within the rice fields. It was further out of Ubud than I had realised however that made it all the more quiet and enjoyable, close to beautiful temples and waterfalls which we hired a motorbike for the day to see. The breakfast was lovely and the hosts were too, always smiling and happy.

The hot water in the bathroom was very touchy. It was either boiling hot or freezing cold. The doors to the backyard did not seal so we had bugs and ant flies flying in our room The breakfast was delicious but wouldn’t recommend their restaurant for dinner

A few feedback/ maintenance points for the owners- -AC was a little small for the size of the room and therefore the room didn’t get as cold as required. -Water in the shower was either very cold or very hot, we were unable to bring it to a warm level. Even the staff was unable to fix it. -The door between the room and balcony was broken and needed a repair PS: expect a lot of mosquitoes, insects and rats in your garden given that the villa is in the rice fields. Online Taxis like Gojek and Grab can only drop off customers but online taxis are not allowed to pick up from the area. You need to rely on local taxi drivers which are a bit expensive.

The villa was beautiful. The staff was very sweet and helping. You can experience Bali Village life around this area, away from busy hustle bustle of central Ubud. A few small restaurants nearby to try. Beautiful views of rice fields. Tegallalang rice terraces are also near by plus the amazing Day clubs like Cretya and Tis Cafe. Villa was able to provide all services like taxi, scooter rental, spa and food service. Included breakfast was not as good as expected.
