The social events in the afternoon are great! And so is the beautiful view over there bay from the pool.. The gym facilities with ice bath and sauna were fantastic also 🏋🏻‍♂️🥵🥶👌🏻

The room was what you paid for, the lighting by my bed was poor but I think that was just mine!

Really fun hostel, met some great people !Beautiful views, yummy breakfast options! Felt a bit far from everything, definitely need a scooter or the hostel will kindly recommend drivers if you don't drive scooters 😊

Too much noise, music start to get louder in the afternoon.. it would have been nice to bé able to either party or enjoy a quiet evening.

In the middle of nowhere, cannot get to town area easily unless you make friends with taxi or hire a moped. Nowhere convenient to walk too unless you want to walk up or down a long steep hill.

We just had the best time at mad monkeys. Nice rooms, amazing view at the pool/chill area. Prices for food/Drinks were totally fine. But the best thing about this whole stay were Randy & Derry, these two boys are beyond amazing. We already miss them, they made every day so special we had so much fun with them 🥹

If you don’t hire bikes it’s a steep hill to get down to main strip of restaurants.

Special mention to Randy the Rep!! Was great at getting everyone involved and provided lots of entertainment. Nice pool area, gym, sauna and lovely view. Lovely food too. Rooms had good aircon.

‏, I believe that a hotel that is part of a global network with a good reputation shouldn’t pass on costs to customers by charging an additional 2% for credit card payments. ‏Additionally, there’s no doubt I would have bought a lot more drinks at the bar if the prices were a bit lower and not significantly more expensive than the rest of the island.

The facilities of the place are amazing: a pool, an ice bath, a sauna, and an open gym, all set against one of the most beautiful views on the island. There’s no doubt that in terms of value for money, they excelled. The dorm rooms are comfortable, and the shower is spacious.

Lighting in the room was very bad, could barely see anything in the dark. There’s not much to hold on to when getting in and out of topbunk so I was scared to fall every time

However I had a bad experience as there was no water at all in the female dorm in which I was in. when we asked if something could be done about it they said it was turned back on which was the case for 5 mins. I also had an intense food poisoning and the staff was not the most helpful in helping me to get an ambulance etc.

The location was ideal, just on the hill and next to all the restaurants downhill

During the time I was there, the pool was a bit dirty but was cleaned most days.

The staff and guests there were really friendly, in clos proximity to the Main Street and mushroom bay. Food and drink onsite are delicious. Gym and pool facilities were nice. The view from the pool was spectacular

I have been to mad monkey in three different countries and i can confidently say this was the worse property ever, staff was very good especially the cleaning guys, but more than one night there was not water in the washroom, probably two days there was not drinking water at reception it was finished! As soon as you step into the beds they started shaking and made it impossible to sleep peacefully, shower in bathroom was somehow giving electricity shocks when you open them, in general the property was poorly very poorly manufactured and no its not a problem of staff but a shame for a BRAND.

The top bunks are noisy and not very comfortable, water pressure in the showers is non existent, I couldn’t wash my hair in the room shower I had to use the outside one by the gym.

Very social and the place offers great amenities for the price. There’s pool, gym, sauna and the events at night are great to socialize.

Facilities are so good . Pool area is great as well as gym and sauna. Favourite thing would have to be the staff . Ady, manman and ady are so great and helpful doing the work of like 3 people and are all legends. The reception staff are all so lovely, and helpful and make booking things and organising super easy. The food is yum and relatively affordable and the bar is great. Randy is great, very funny and good to chat to the man knows how to have a good time. Dery is a legend . He is funny and cool, plays the guitar and sings ( also handsome ). They both make the experience at mad monkey much better and make it feel like a party. I extended my stay once and I wish I had done it again .

bathroom is quite dirty and stinky, not very clean (even saw cockroach), lots of mosquitoes around and the roads nearby were horribly conditioned, most of the things were quite dirty, (sofa near pool was not very clean), beds were rustly and quite uncomfortable, quite expensive for what it offered, not too many hooks or places to put things
