This is a beautiful villa in a stunning area of sidemen. It’s right near the rice paddy walk so you can easily just walk over to the entrances from the accomodation. There are lovely warungs nearby. The family running this place are also a highlight. Lovely helpful family and their daughters were such a pleasure! So good at making you comfortable and such a joy to talk to! They made me dinner and breakfast and both were lovely! Slept wonderful! So quiet!

Beware of the nasty mosquitos in the rice fields!! (better use repellent)

I absolutely LOVED everything about our stay here! The landscape is beautiful, and what a privilege to wake up in the middle of the vegetation with a view over the rice fields, with birds and cicadas for companions. The room is in a charming independent wooden cabin – quiet, private and comfortable. The bed was spacious and extremely comfortable, we both had a very restful sleep. The breakfast (included) they brought to our balcony was just right. Our host Ketut was wonderful in every detail, always generous and accommodating – he arranged for us a guided tour in the rice terraces, and he was himself our private guide/driver for 2 days. It was also lovely to meet his wife and daughters, who all work in the business as well. You feel love and care in every detail. A truly heart-warming experience! Highly recommended.

The property is rural which gives it its charm but it also means that the surrounding jungle gets LOUD at night. I loved hearing the sounds but it might make it a bit difficult to sleep without earplugs (i was perfectly fine with mine). The walls are also not soundproof so if you are unlucky with your neighbors (only one other bungalow), earplugs come in handy again. I could hardly wish for a better place and better value for my money for my stay in Sideman.

This place is gorgeous! I felt like I was on a luxurious glamping safari. The staff are so kind and helpful, the interior of the bungalows is beautiful and spotless. The bed is so comfortable and I had the best sleep. The surrounding rice terraces and view from the terrace is to die for. I only wish I could stay longer.

We loved our stay in the Villa! The views on rice terraces and greenery were wonderful. Having breakfast (very delicious by the way) with that view is unbeatable! Staff were very nice and helpful. There’s hot water and towels. You can walk to Sideman rice terraces from the villas. We only stayed for one night, wish we could stayed longer!

Everything about my stay was perfect - Ketut and his family are such kind and thoughtful hosts. Ketut was always available, happy to chat and answer questions and help with solutions to the little unknowns that invariably pop up when visiting a new place for the first time. The breakfasts (and other meals offered) were all delicious and prepared with love. The villa and location are impeccable - I absolutely loved being surrounded by the sounds of nature and waking up to hear the roosters and see the sun rising over rice paddies. The villa was appealingly minimal but with every need considered from the comfortable bed to the lovely spacious bathroom and well stocked fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. 11/10 for cleanliness throughout.

We liked everything, we even prolonged our stay there.

The bungalow is very pretty and clean. It has beautiful setting inside the Sidemen rice terraces. The owner is end-to-end busimessman, he runs every business imaginable. So at the property you can also rent a bike, order laundry, eat in a warung and buy stuff in his shop. The room also has fully packed minibar.

The thing I loved, ended up being a bit of a problem but easily solved with earplugs. It is a symphony of nature here ❤️. Trying to sleep in the symphony was challenging. Earplugs are highly recommended.

Beautiful Accommodation with a Warm Atmosphere We have visited many accommodations in Bali, but this one is truly special! The property is stunning and well-maintained. Ketut and his daughter welcomed us warmly and treated us like family—they truly fulfilled all our wishes. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and the tranquility here is unbeatable. Yet, everything is easily accessible by scooter in just about five minutes. There are also great restaurants nearby with breathtaking views over the rice fields. Breakfast at the accommodation is more than sufficient and very good. Additionally, there is the option to enjoy delicious meals on-site. We also booked our Mount Batur tour through the accommodation—everything was perfectly organized, including the airport transfer. They really take care of everything! Furthermore, we explored the waterfalls in the area by scooter on our own—they are all within 10 to 30 minutes and absolutely worth visiting. A definite recommendation—we will be back for sure!

The villa located behind family compound but has its own entry. Very serene quiet area surrounded by rice fields, we slept pretty well at nights with the sounds from nature after rain. A clean property, nice breakfast and the owner is friendly

The hot water turned off for a few days at the beginning, but Ketut sorted it!

The property was so simple, clean and well maintained. We loved the balcony out the front where you can overlook gorgeous rice fields. Ketut goes above and beyond to help you out, evening making us a stick to fend off the dogs on our walks. It’s set in a gorgeous place - you should definitely come here. Ketut and his family are perfect hosts.

- Nothing - You will need a scooter ; but you need that everywhere in Sidemen. This shouldn’t hold you back. Coming 12 years to Bali this is one of my favorite places. Ketut and your family thank you!

- Super friendly staff (!!!!) - Very clean accommodation ; they clean daily - Everything is new - Bed is very comfortable - Lovely terrace ; green view - It’s owned by a Balinese family (please support locals!) - I felt very safe as a woman traveling alone - I love that the bathroom was closed (for bugs) and that the bed had a mosquito net

I stayed only 2 nights, could have stayed longer! The cottage is in excellent condition. The breakfast was so nice. The location is wonderful, peaceful enough. I personally walked everywhere and didn't need a motor vehicle. Of course, I only moved within walking distance from the accommodation. In order to be able to explore Sideman more, you would need a car or a scooter. There are warungs near the accommodation where you can get excellent food! There is also a laundry service only a couple of houses ahead on the same road that I found very good. Thank you very very much for being such a kind and helpful host! It was a big help that you even arranged a local driver for me that I could continue my trip.

It was a wonderful place. Really nice to be in the middle of a ricefield. The owner and his family are so friendly and kind. He gave us a special welcome and he was always really happy to see us. The villa is brand new and the facilities are amazing. He helped us also with a trip in the afternoon to see the temple and the waterfall and helped us with a taxi to our next destination. When you go to Sidemen you definitely have to go to this place. Ketut, thanks a lot!!
